So what kind of weight would you have to run to get the heavier duty springs, is there a point for front weight and rear weight in lbs where you would run over the other? Maybe you can run 38s with the heavy duty one lol.
I plan on using the Icon stage 8 suspension lift, 37x13.50r17 Toyo Open Country MTs (true height 37 and true width 14.6 ), and JKS clearance kit. I just dont know what wheel offset is best for true extreme offroad clearance at full articulation, compression, and lock to lock turning. Im thinking...
Yeah the 1.5 inch spacer with stock wheels is almost like running a -8mm offset wheel, I just wonder if I should do a 0mm offset wheel or -12mm offset wheel for ultimate clearance, I plan to run the JKS clearance kit and a proper 3 inch coilover lift kit like Icon stage 8 or Accutune stage 3A.
To tell you the truth man I kike the look of a taller lift height for sure, I like a good amount of the fender to tire gap but of course I won't go there just because I like it I want to make the correct decision. My problem is I don't know how the rig will change in the future so if it goes...
Let's say you are on the edge basical
So if you don't account for drivers am I to assume you don't account for gear either, is it only permanent mods or is gear considered part of oermanent? If that is the case it may be range 1 for me not range 2. Also let's say for the sake of argument if you...
Can someone or Accutune explain exactly what kind of tuning is done by accutune for these Ride Shocks that may be specific to your Bronco? My understanding is there are two options to choose from for front and rear shocks for the weight bands.
Front shocks weight bands:
Range 1: 0-400lbs...
I am thinking about going with Icon stage 7 suspension lift kit and Icon tie rods as well. The tire I plan to run is a 37x13.50r17 Toyo Open Country MT one of the biggezt 37s at 94 lbs and true measurement of 37x14.6r17.. Right now I got the Badlands Sasquatch, If I get a 17x9 wheel with a 0mm...
What would you say is a safe body lift (1 or 2 inches) in addition to the 3 inch Accutune Stage 3 lift kit with Ride Shocks or 3 inch Icon stage 7 lift kit to properly clear 38x13.50r17 MT tires without any other mods, and what wheel offset in this set up would you recommend? From what I read...
Well I was gonna upgrade to Hoss 3.0 steering rack beefed up tie rods and RCV front and rear axles. I was gonna do all that anyway for 37s so figured since I am doing all of it might as well go to 38s. I'm thinking about 74weld steering rack too but a little too expensive.
Well technically with an appropriate 3 inch lift kit 37x12.50r17 should clear really well with +18mm but if ure doing 38x13.50r17 gotta go more negative.
Oh wow -40mm and here I am worried about -12mm lol. I want to run 38x13.50r17 with AccuTune Stage 3 lift kit and Ride Shocks but not sure how it will do with 38s.
Man that looks amazing. If you don't mind me asking what was the wheel offset you used, was this a 12.50 or 13.50 wide 37, and what suspension lift kit did you use if any?
Anyone know when Toyo will release their next generation Mud Terrains or if there is any talk about this. From what I have researched the last time a Toyo MT was introduced was way back in 2006 even Nitto Trail Grapplers haven't been touched since 2009 either. I think the Yokohama Geolandar...
I wonder if these modern E rated tires have the same softness as the old D rated tires. I am assuming so because these should be designed for Broncos, Jeeps, and 4 Runners too not just trucks.
Well they are both E rated if ure looking for 37s, I have heard great things about Falken but D rated and they have a nice one in the 38x13.8r17 size that's D rated. Lookwise I love these RT Pros I just hope they are not too stiff in the size I want but I'm afraid they will be.
For an RT they look amazing, I wonder how they will be against the Falken RT01s. My only issue is that most sizes I want are E rated, as a matter of fact I don't even think they have a D rated tire. Hopefully the new E rated tires are the old D rated tires. I want the 37X13.50r17 size when they...
