We think his GWM is just in a funky state right now and could benefit from a reboot. Kinda like a laptop or phone that after a while it slows down and restarting it makes it perform better. Easy enough theory to test out if he had FORScan.

You're also on Sync 23159, but in your case, OTA 6.1.0 shows as installed as of yesterday. Not much else pending for you. The TCU update here is next one you'd need to come through before the next APIM update will be released which would get you to the latest Sync version.

GWM updates download/install while the vehicle is running, so the doors not being on should not have an effect like they do with updates that require the vehicle to be inhibited which have a prerequisite of the doors being closed. I am not sure which fuse you'd have to pull to reset the GWM, but...

You're on Sync 23159, so you're way past the old bad software. The truck accepted the OTA trigger, but not giving consent to install seemingly due to auto-updates being off. Have you tried rebooting the APIM by holding down radio power and forward seek buttons together until the touchscreen reboots?

Auto-updates being grayed out was a red flag of a major software problem with job 1 2021 F150's and Mach E's. I am not familiar enough with the Broncos to know if that is the case here, but if you were able to turn auto-updates on/off at one point and your truck is a 2022, I doubt it is the same...

Unless you have an active ota in queue to install, it will always say up to date or show you the info of the last update you receive.

Just responded to your message. The OTA is hung up at one of the first stages of the OTA process. There is a problem between the handshake between truck and the mothership preventing the update from going to the verification and download process.

APIM updates are supposed to install automatically. You don't need to give them consent (other than just starting the truck). Send me your VIN and I can check PTS to see what's going on with it.

21146 is the Sync version you would get to once you got out of the broken 20301 on our trucks. Seems like you guys had the same issues here, which means there are many Broncos out there stuck in OTA limbo. What a sh*t show. @Rosedp I am going to message you now.
