This makes me curious. I had to add some coolant to the reservoir because it was very low. I was wondering why the coolant level would be low. 😬

Hey @CarbonSteel et al. This is an amazing thread. I’m going to be installing the Ford Performance cover tomorrow. I have one dumb question. I’m not sure how to tighten the threaded studs where the brake line clamps will be? The studs that you used. Thanks!

The new version of the app is terrible. I used the self service also that is now gone. I also used to use the app to turn on the zone lighting. It was great for locating the Bronco in a crowded parking lot, Ford disabled that too. 🙁 Did anyone test it before rolling it out?

Headlights that don't freeze up in snowy weather. V8 with a manual or at least finally the 2.7l & Manual Yellow, orange, or antimatter paint. Better instrument panel, the tach and speedo need to be switched.

The timing cover on mine still leaks. It’s covered in dirt and spreading and making a mess. I’m thinking of making an appointment at the dealership but before I do. Does anyone know the torque spec for the timing cover bolts? I want to see if they’re just loose.

This happened to me also. It occurred shortly after the TSB was completed. It’s working fine now.

100% yes! I’ve had problems with it like many others, but I still love it. It makes every drive more fun.

I recently bought a set of wild track wheels to put on my green non-sas badlands. I really like the toughness of the wheels and the amount of tire poking out is perfect. I’ve been looking at getting some black lugs. Thanks!

That would be so great if Ford was working on a real fix for this issue. I freaking love this manual transmission but the noise at times drives me crazy. And yes, it does have TSB 23-2013.

I have 16k on my 2.3l and I think it’s a great motor. I did the Ford performance tune and it’s even better, especially with the manual transmission. The only minor thing I see is that the timing cover has a slow leak.

Mine has done this intermittently in 1st gear only. No rhyme or reason as to why. I had the Ford Performance tune installed in December and have not experienced the bucking since. Could be coincidence, time will tell.

I noticed that mine has a slow leak at the timing cover as well. Same spot, near the alternator pulley.
