Title is self explanatory. The trail sights were one of my most anticipated modification spots, but so far, they're more often than not deleted than expanded upon. I'd like to see what everyone uses them for.
Funny this post came up, because I've just gotten into fishing myself! Ironically enough, seeing your fishing rod holders was what inspired me to buy a fishing rod of my own, though they remain short for boat usage for now. If I ever start coastal fishing, I'll definitely be having more trouble...
Yep. And considering my own experience with both American-built cars and Chinese-built, I'm rather excited to see the Chinese built Broncos hit our shores.
This!!!! So much this. I've been wanting a hybrid Bronco for this exact reason, and I know the pure off-roading community's gonna hate me and my tent, but the on-board electrification is gonna do wonders for off-grid power.
Every time the Bronco annoys me in a way that makes me consider selling it, I just modify it in a way that makes it even better. In that way, I'm likely to keep it forever, but it might end up being the Bronco of Theseus by then.
Not sure if you Americans have Black Bear tires, but I've been thoroughly enjoying them on my Bronco, and have been more well-mannered on the road than the stock Bridgestones. I went with 285/70R17's, but after a lift kit, I'm wishing that I went with bigger.
So, essentially, there's no benefit from replacing the stock fans, only maybe adding them on the front of the radiator. Thanks for the input; seems these are a waste of time.
Not particularly worried, but it's just not a number I'd like to see when cruising. If I ever give it the beans, it's going to creep towards the upper end of what I'd consider to be normal, so any prolonged hard use of the Bronco's going to put it at temperatures that I'm just not comfortable...
It'll be wired to the auxiliary toggle switches, so it can be toggled whenever I want it to be.
And I'm not so sure about it being a waste of money; after all, there's actually no information whatsoever on this forum regarding if it is. The only other thread I found regarding the radiator fan...
Approximately 200F for both engine and transmission temperatures. Taking it on light off-roading I've noticed it go above 230 on some occasions, which is why I've been staying careful with this thing all summer.
And yeah, 120 is our average. We hit 140 a few years back, too, lol
Hi. Surprised I haven't found any threads on this, so I guess I'll start my own. I'm considering getting some SPAL radiator fans for the Bronco.
It gets very hot here - 120F+ - so I'd appreciate any increase in cooling performance, but I wanted to know if anyone here had any experience with...
