Honestly, not a bad deal, but I'm really surprised that custom fabrication didn't come to mind for you. It seems like it's more common here than it is in the US, albeit.
Spending over two grand on a Warn winch kit while complaining about the cost of aftermarket bumpers is one hell of a thing.
...I'm glad I wasn't the only one considering this exact route.
Oh, yeah, when it comes to the 2.7 you might as well make a prayer every time you turn the engine on. That's the biggest reason I stayed away from higher specs; I'm not so worried about the 2.3 otherwise.
Really want that skeleton Bronco tire cover, but I'm torn.
Do I get it in Area 51, to match the rest of the car?
Do I get it in red, to match the accenting I'm going for?
Or do I get it in white, a sure-fire neutral choice?
Choices, choices...
My thoughts exactly. These engines aren't exactly built by Pratt & Whitney, are they? My 2.3 doesn't make enough power to warrant being treated as such, anyway.
For what it's worth, the interesting oil I use is compatible with Ford's M2C917-A. Does anyone know how that stacks up to the Bronco's...
From an install video I've seen them do, it seems that the fog lights might be permanently fixed to the plastic bumper somehow, but it wasn't clear enough for me to be sure. Would like it if somebody could correct me.
Unrelated, but what does removing the shutters from the IC have to do with an aftermarket bumper? I'm going to get a custom-fabricated copy of the JCR Crusader bumper, and was wondering if I needed to touch the intercooler in any way?
Probably that, yeah. Either way, its temporary nature isn't actually that important to me, so I might just paint them if that's a cheaper option. They can't look much uglier than they already are, and if I ruin them, that'll just be a good excuse to get new ones.
Hi!
I have a Big Bend!
I hate its rims!
But I can't get myself to buy a whole new set of rims when the car's this new. It feels almost wasteful, so I'm thinking: "I've already got some rims, why don't I just paint them?"
So, I've been wanting to see if anybody else here has done the same...
Yeah, but over here, they've been on an 8-month waiting list since they were revealed. God knows how long it is now, though.
These are absolute dog water. Went to the dealership to see 'em, and they aren't even that much cheaper than the G-Class they rip off: they're still near the ballpark of...
