Nah, you're absolutely right. When it comes to pulling and winching, all too often there's going to be that one clown who skimped out on proper gear and ends up getting someone hurt - or worse. I wouldn't want that to be me, so a "just because I can, doesn't mean I should" mindset is what I...
Yeah, you're definitely right, and I've come to that conclusion shortly after making this post, but I thought of giving it the benefit of the doubt anyways. Oh well.
Oh, and before I forget: Why are Rough Country's products so cheap? Does the quality still hold up? I do actually use my Bronco for some moderately tough off-roading, and do frequently tow stuck vehicles out of sand a lot, so durability does matter.
Hi. Been considering this lil' guy.
I'm looking for an aftermarket bumper solution for my Bronco, and ideally would like to mount a winch on one. I do actually quite like my base bumper, so I was wondering if I could get away with a Rough Country Nudge Bar. I've had some concerns though:
1...
Oh, oops, forgot to respond!
Yeah, I did.
They're terrible. They don't fit right, and the adhesive that came with them are horrendous. Low quality plastic, too.
Still keeping them on, cuz they look good from afar, but it's to be seen for just how long I'll keep them on.
Considering just pulling the trigger and taking one for the team to find out if I don't get a confident answer from anyone here. Unfortunately, my Bronco's currently sitting at the dealership for servicing, so I can't go out and measure the taillight specs myself...
Yeah, it looks way too cool to pass on. Especially with the more basic look of the, well, base taillights, it'd fit even more. I prefer a more rugged and liveable Bronco than a posh princess.
Hi. I've been considering getting these cheapo taillight guards off of Amazon, because I've got as much taste as a packet of silica gel.
Unfortunately, I also have the budget of a packet of silica gel, so I've only got a Big Bend. I was wondering if the base taillights and the LED taillights...
I tend to push my Bronco to its absolute limits. I've already gotten it sunken in a sea bed once before, and nearly had it get shot at by battle tanks. I think you just further sold me the Baja mode.
FORD WHY COULD YOU NOT DESIGN FRAMELESS WINDOWS YOU'RE A MULTI BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY
I'm really enjoying my Bronco so far! It's really brought me a new appreciation for my music taste, especially the added drum effect that plays over every speedbump.
I'd like to see the burglar that'd report you for that.
"Oh, no, officer! He pointed a gun at me while I was trying to steal his car! Arrest him, not me!"
God forbid I'd be driving a Bronco by the time I'm old enough to have two kids, lol. I'd just get another car for the rear passengers, which I already have.
As for the 2x4's... well, I just got a roof rack today, so it seems that I've already solved that non-issue.
