Welcome! Our OBX has been so much fun for our family and I hope yours is too. Dealer should be able to dial in your windows no problem. The brakes are probably fine, just a lot less than youāre used to.
My first vehicle was a ā98 Ranger that ran to 275k milesā¦on the original spark plugsā¦
Next up was an A4 2.0T that went to 206k miles on nothing more than frequent quality oil changes.
Donāt over complicate thingsā¦
I have 275 width on my OBX and it just kisses the sway bar at full lock. I have no clue how people are throwing 295 width on stock wheels without significant rub.
Remember Webasto won a design award for these tops? š
I went soft top in 2022 figuring thereād be good tops in 5 years. Looks like Iām going to be wrong!
Not a leader in your poll, but my Toyo AT3's needed a single 1/4 oz weight to balance. They've been great for beach trips and no road noise to speak of. Whatever you get, I'd stick with SL rated unless you're hardcore.
Baja Boss caught my attention because they look cool. Feels like those are...
Your intuition is right, the Bronco is a battery eater. Mine was replaced under warranty in year 2. If I don't drive it for 7-10 days I get the low battery notices in my app.
Largest I've seen on stock OBX wheels is 295/70R18 or 35x11.5 but you'll want to lift.
You can keep your suspension the same and switch to 275/70R18. I run 275/65 SL-rated AT3s, and I wish it shipped that way from the factory.
Agree, the cyber truck price increased significantly between its announcement and production dates. When the Scouts finally start coming off the line, they will be closer to $100k than $60k.
It was so ridiculous when the battery died I'm surprised my Bronco didn't detonate.
Crazy amount of error codes and flashing messages, the anti-lock spazzing was a nice surprise too. What ever happened to just not turning the engine over?
