I agree and think the prices are mostly being absorbed by extended financing. Donāt tell the automakers what comes after 84mo! š
That being said the 90+ days delinquent numbers have been on the rise. When the next pullback in the economy happens I think a lot more people will be caught over...
It's almost like injecting money into a zero interest rate economy would jack the price of everything!
Glad to see demand cooling though, you'll actually be able to order and take delivery relatively quickly!
Disappointed to see only one set made in USA. Would hate to spend that much money on the other Chinese made wheels. I know the economics don't favor these being made here, but it's definitely a bummer.
I think you're spot on. Pricing will be closer to the Defender 110 which ranges from 55k to 120k. The off-road trim being talked up will 100% be on the higher end too. Something at 75k and 45k are not competitors. The new GX may be a great new SUV but I could never swing the payment!
I think you're right about demand softening. But long term Bronco sales will always be benchmarked against Wrangler sales. If you told the C-Suite at Ford the Bronco would sniff anything near a 1:1 parity with the Wrangler, that'd be a smash hit.
Agree on that. Thereās a segment of people who thought they were getting a 4X4 Telluride. Never forget itās a Ranger with a removable top and doors. Wouldnāt trade mine for anything.
Iād choose the wheel size that gives you the most tire options in the future. Shopping for my 18ā OBX wheels was pretty limiting when looking for non E rated tires. My hunch is 17ā will give you that flexibility.
Iām almost positive you can buy replacement panels separately. A thief would cut the panels and never take the time to remove them. Everything I leave in my Bronco is replaceable. Go in with that mentality and youāll be fine.
Some guys have invested in the trunk or console safe. ROI really...
Agree, it must be tough to find the sweet spot.
Buyers want a street worthy tire that looks like an MT. They want their vehicle to look the part but know deep down they're using this Bronco to drive 30 highway miles to work.
I donāt think weāre that far off. Dealerships can sell for whatever theyād like. OP can buy online if he prefers. Both the online seller and the dealer seem to make enough money to stay afloat.
Itās worth mentioning Ford doesnāt āmakeā much of anything. They assemble these Broncos from...
Sorry to hear about the busted CV.
Youāre paying to have that part sit in a stock room thatās 5 minutes from your house. Who knows how long they have to hold it before they sell it.
Dealer is not being a prick for charging the list price of the part. Theyāre not obligated to sell it to you for...
Exactly my thoughts.
Feels more General Grabber to me....
Interested to see the response from the market since people seemed to love those cheese puffs.
