Great answer - I'm interested in sas takeoffs one day too. Will probably justify it when I make the last payment. Hopefully the takeoff market will have better inventory with more Broncos on the road.
That's about where I am.
It's a cool looking vehicle - but that's all it'll ever be. Kind of like a Hummer EV.
It won't be in the woods, it won't be at the hardware store, it'll be in someone's driveway in the Hamptons. Doesn't make it any less interesting, but lets keep a real perspective.
Cool photos but theyād sell about 12 per year in a 2dr format.
The gladiator more than anything else in the doors off segment, needs to be lifted with a big ass tire setup to avoid looking absolutely gutless.
Adding my 2 cents in case itās something you havenāt consideredā¦
You could run 285/75ās on stock wheels for the 35ās. Then put some of that money towards a suspension install.
Toyo > Falken for me. The ATIII has been money for asphalt/dirt/sand.
Also, in be4 someone recommends KO2ās š¤£
Spare went to the rear passenger spot since that tire had presumably came off the front driver. Just rotated again on my own using the rearward cross with no issue. Will save you $70 and take much less time than you think!
I always try to buy American and direct from the manufacturer whenever possible. Even if the price is the same, I feel like I'm supporting a company that gives a damn about it's employees.
I was amazed at how low the fuel tank hangs my first time under the Bronco. Iām only a beach driver so Iām not too worried about it. But if youāre doing anything remotely dicey Iād go full skid plates. Seems like cheap insurance to me.
Absolutely agree here. A lot of guys are cavalier about removing them but they were put there for a reason by Ford. If it were me Iād like be considering one of the aftermarket options OR find out why a Sasquatch Bronco doesnāt need them. Certainly up to the individual owner though.
I always thought it was illegal but totally unenforced. Kind of like those super duty trucks with 7" of poke...
FWIW if someone wants to pull you over, they'll find something. Your doors were never the problem!
