  1. Can I power a 50W GMRS radio with just an AUX switch?

I use an aux switch to turn on a relay that powers my 50W unit & ran a heavy gauge wire to the battery for the power.
  2. Broncos and MICE.

I use a combination of peppermint & chili oil spray. Works great
  3. SYNC 4 Android Issue

I use a wireless dongle and avoid the Sync4 bluetooth, much more stable with my Android. I tried many and ended up with a non-Chinese one that seems to work flawlessly

  5. Hitch (Curt) Install Help

Folks here say the bumper removal is like 10min. It took me longer to grind those bolts off since it's a bit tight in there, so you need the right size grinding wheel.
  6. Use octane booster or go back to 10%-ethanol after ProCal install?

The stabilizer I currently use is PRI-G after years of running Stabil (blue) since I had time to research all the stabilizers out there.
  7. Use octane booster or go back to 10%-ethanol after ProCal install?

I am a huge believer in ethanol-free "real gas" which I run in everything I own. Bronco sits sometimes longer than a month or two since it resides at a remote cabin. Just ordered the ProCal and I know I need to run 92-93 octane. My two options are switching to 10%-ethanol 92 octane (the...

  10. CB radio

I put a GMRS in the Bronco & another truck I have. It's not like the CB channel 19 days, nobody is chatting on the road. Really only good to talk with a group you're driving with or a group off-roading together. I did like the install I did with a split unit so the head unit fits perfect up by...

  12. Trailer hitch plug receptacle

They do it everyday, so prob your best option if you're not gonna do it yourself. Maybe they will allow you to give them the hitch to install so you don't pay a markup on it. Here is the one that most say is the best aftermarket one...
  13. Trailer hitch plug receptacle

Yeah, hardest part is removing the 2 long bolts. I guess I should've just removed the bumper, but I cut em off with a grinding wheel.
  14. Trailer hitch plug receptacle

No need for any programming if you are just going to use a 4-pin setup if you don't mind the backup alert. Total cost was $140 to add a Curt hitch & plug-n-play module for my '24
  15. Severe Oil Consumption- 2022 2.7

You will get one more qt out if left overnight to drain. My dipstick doesn't lie & I always check oil level after car sits overnight, parked on a level surface. A shop will do 6qts and that is fine since they don't let the last quart drain. When I do an oil change, I prefer to change ALL the...
  16. Severe Oil Consumption- 2022 2.7

Incorrect, dipstick is dead on after filling with 7qts after a proper (overnight) draining & I know I have the correct dipstick. Did thorough research before my 1st oil change and I am beyond obsessed with this stuff. It is 7qts
  17. Severe Oil Consumption- 2022 2.7

There are numerous discussions on this, takes 7qts if properly drained
