  1. Installing a winch electrical considerations?

The signal wire for the relay, assuming you are doing a high voltage relay like a PAC shouldn't draw more than a couple amps when triggered. It seems to be a waste to use Aux 1 for it IMO if you can avoid it.

What does the left button do? What were the original skids?

  4. What is the appeal of off-roading?

Hit the nail on the head for me. Got a truck to haul bikes and then dipped my toes into offroading and I got hooked. I built my Tacoma to be more and more capable and kept chasing the rush of accomplishing the next obstacle. I started camping to be able to stay near the offroad parks for cheap...
  5. IM A HORSE - Definitely not a build.

Actual truck mod. Snagged a set of OEM rock rails from FB marketplace for $100. I don't plan on leaving them alone either, I already have this ordered but it's currently backordered. https://www.quadratec.com/products/13042_3200_07.htm I was going to get a stick of tube and get my buddy to...

  7. MORRFlate vs Thor’s Lightning 4-tire air hose?

I've had my Morrflate setup since 2020 and I really have loved it. The one downside is needing to coil the hoses in a somewhat organized fashion. But for airing down and airing up it definitely is one of the most efficient and quick solutions especially when combined with a CO2 tank and...
  8. Fabricated own rock sliders

If you like the Ford ones, check Facebook marketplace. I picked these up last night from someone for $100. I saw them on FB for anywhere from 125-200. A lot of people immediately ditch them for steps it seems. Full setup with hardware. The guy said he took them off at 30 miles.
  9. Fabricated own rock sliders

Got a link to the tube? Would be easier for me to just get it and not hit up my buddy with a bender, but if it's more than like $200 I might as well just go buy the stick. That's exactly how I'll be doing it too but with two separate steps.
  10. Fabricated own rock sliders

Yeah I have a hard time trusting anything body mounted to be honest. I know a lot of other companies sell theirs similar to the ford setup and stick with the OEM mounting locations but I have seen my welded on sliders on my other truck flex enough to contact my pinch weld over time with just it...
  11. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

That's not a bad idea. I wanted to see how mine would look white, I have the black rings.
  12. Fabricated own rock sliders

How are these holding up? Couldn't get the stock rails on my Wildtrak but seeing OEM take off's going for $100 locally. Going to do the same for the errant stump/branch/rock. I have my Tacoma for the really dumb shit but this will get me by for a year or two till I get Metal Techs.
  13. Snacktime's Broken Bronco Build

Ooof that ride I am sure did not feel good.
  14. Stronger strut/damper (or some kind of lock) for the cargo/tailgate door

You ever find a solution? I wish I could have some sort of stopper that can hold it open at whatever width I wanna set.
  15. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Does it have enough give to get a water bottle in there still? (between the door and bag)
