Great pics thanks ! Iāll be cutting the crash bars this weekend.
Your Truck looks rad with the fenders ⦠thatās quite the project.
Did you completely remove the plastic block that is behind the liner on the back side of the wheel well ?
Actually the stock +30 SAS wheel for 315s has well over 5ā of backspace. A 0 offset 9ā wheel has 5ā backspace. That being said a highly negative wheel might not rub as much on the crash bar mount ⦠but thatās easily trimmed off. And I didnāt want a bunch of poke past the flare.
No I donāt have the newest gen Raptor,
And I havenāt driven one yet.
Haha , yea that looks like my truck, but we have our own shop with a 2 post car lift. My son and I do all of our work on our trucks.
Funny that they donāt show what a pain in the ass it is having to cut off the trailing arm...
No, just got all my stuff from them.
I like the ride of the foxes on the Bronco on the street just fine, I might even dial up the high speed compression a bit ā¦. but then I also never liked the stock feel of foxes on any of my Raptors so I put different front and rear springās on those to lift...
Thanks for all the work figuring the tie rod out, really appreciate it.
I have two spare Ranger inners and the JKS sleeves. Not going to spend a ton on band-aids. And in the mean time while we all wait for a proper fix Iāll just try to be smart when wheeling.
And believe it or not ⦠itās...
Ok, thanks .... I think
Looks like youāre running KM3ās ? If so those are a good choice to prevent rubbing, as they measure less than 37ā
Not even interested in debating your UCA comment lol
And as a friend of mine says that races KOH ... he can make anything rub with enough speed š
Nice !
Well since you did the clearance kit to delete the crash bar mount youāre probably good with whatever offset you like. I knew that a neg offset wheel would help, but I didnāt want too much poke.
Post pics of the clearance kit for us.
I have 9ā wheels ⦠but doubt that changes much, still phat š Most people I see with this tire that know what theyāre doing run a moderate negative wheel offset, like -12 . I just didnāt want the extra poke. If I canāt solve everything with some cutting Iāll change the wheel.
Easy Trigger ⦠Not angry at all lol. So they actually will rub, when fully flexed out ⦠which was my original point.
And Iām running Nitto Trail Grapplers, which measure a bit taller and wider than 37x12.5, so I know my setup is different and will have more issues.
