FYI itās not a tie rod end, itās a complete tie rod kit and Itās a good upgrade. Also get the $50 Rough Country steering rack bushing. I also carry a $15 spare Ranger tie rod just in case. You can get it all for less than the silly BroncBuster tie rod block that so many fell for lol.
Been wheeling my Fist Edition with 37s, Camburg and Fox suspension with no problems, but being pretty careful.
Now you can get the proper stronger Icon tie rods for less than the price of that silly BroncBuster block, and you can get the rack bushing for $50 from Rough Country that he tries to...
Not sure why you would want to deal with the weight of 37s, the need for a lift, all just for the ālookā, especially with a 2.3. Plenty of info on the forums of what youāll need to do to eliminate rubbing with 37s, even on the road.
Just up size to a 35x12.5 and throw on some cheap perch...
The website specs mean nothing. I have 37ā Nitto Trail Grapplers. They are for sure almost an inch bigger than the 37 BFG, and wider. Iāve had them side by side.
And a tire that is even only 1/2 inch bigger in diameter looks MUCH bigger, itās not just 1/2 taller, itās a 1/2 larger all the way...
Some people want to see my plug installed. I just wired the 4 pin wires into the Hopkins plug. Now I can use both 4 and 7 pin connectors (no trailer brakes of course )
There is a buyer on BAT who bought about 30 of them in 2022. Heās buying up nearly all of the Raptor Broncos. I suspect they are all headed to the Middle East or Mexico.
Over 160 6G Broncos went up for sale on BAT in 2022 - interesting the people will finally get their truck only to flip it for a few bucks š¤·š¼āāļø
Yea I donāt get it why people make the claim, itās not like thereās a trophy or award haha. True 37s are going to rub period. You can fix it ⦠I did, and Iām running a 37 Nitto that makes a BFG 37 look like a 35. If you run a BFG, which is a 36, with a high positive offset wheel you can avoid...
i installed the Curt harness today. Its super easy to install. Hardest part is running the power wire from the back to the battery. . Plugs into both taillights, connect ground wire to frame and run the power wire to the battery. Not sure how much easier it could be lol.
i also wired the...
Iāve been running the Fox coil overs with Camburg UCAs and trailing arms since March. They have been good so far, havenāt messed around much with the high and low speed compression yet.
Lift was initially about 3.5 in front and 1.5 in back with the preload set like it came. Iām sure the front...
Making room for the 37s on the back of the front wheel well where it rubbed the fender liner. JKS Max tire kit includes the brackets to eliminate the big plastic block behind the liner so the liner can be pulled in.
I trimmed the bottom edge of the liner, and used zip ties instead of the...
Not sure how 37s will roll with your lift, as itās probably just slightly taller than a stock Sasquatch truck. I would go with BFGs since they are not full 37s.
True 37s will for sure rub the rear of both fender wells and the crash bar mount. Fixes for these are in the thread.
