But the difference is the shock that a spacer is inserted into is not meant to be extended by preloading the spring. Whereas a coil over like the FOX is designed to both lift the truck and to operate in the optimum stoke.

Well …/ something has to be longer for the Fox to lift a sasQ 2-3 inches. And it clearly does if you look at the Camburg truck. The king coilovers don’t lift a SasQ other than maybe 1/2 inch. I spoke with them , and they have no idea when they will have a shock that lifts a SasQ.

Well we’ve run fox and kings on our builds and have had very few problems, but we’ve blown up more than a few Bilsteins. So doesn’t the fox elite coilover have a little less actual shaft travel in order to keep the extension from dropping too far and thereby creating too much CV angle ? And...

Do you also have the extended length of the SAS Bilsteins ? Fox coilovers have 5.78 in of front travel and 6.98 in the rear. Wondering what the SAS travel is ?

The truck you’re referring to in the video is a Badlands without a Sasquatch and has the 4WP coil overs set at probably 2” of lift. So I think quite a bit lower than a 3” inch FOX lift will be on a Sasquatch.

Multiple posts on here with 37s clearing on Sasquatch trucks with RPG collars. My friend has the RPG collars and Micky Thompson Baja boss 37s on 0” offset wheels with no rubbing so far. See the attached Fun Haver video running the Fox Coil over with I think -12 wheels.

There are actually very specific lift specs on the Fox site, even broken down by 2 door or 4 door, and Sasquatch or non Sasquatch. And for a 4 door Sasquatch the lift is 2-3” inches. And like I said that is more than enough for 37s. And its called a 2.5 in shock because the shock body diameter...

I don’t know where you read that. The Fox Performace Elite coilovers provide 2-3” of lift to a Sasquatch truck. That is plenty of lift to run 37s.
