  1. Any experience with the smaller profile lights for use on the A-pillar mounts?

Thanks y'all for the prompt responses I hadn't considered including anything other than spot lenses under the assumption that the wider lens on a driving combo would light the hood up and throw a fair bit of glare back into the cabin, is this not the case?
  2. C-Load 35x12.5r17 Toyo AT3s?

Well, I'm curious now @Discount Tire , is this company policy, and does it apply specifically to individual trims of the vehicle, since base model Broncos do indeed come with 111 load index tires?
  3. C-Load 35x12.5r17 Toyo AT3s?

Base model Bridgestone dueler h/ts are 111 load index, Big Bend dueler a/ts are 115, Black Diamond grabbers are 112, the Badlands k02s are 113 and the big Goodyears on the sasquatch packages are 113. Seeing as there's usually only one or two different load 'versions' of a tire model in the same...
  4. đź›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Well, glad it’s not just me, but I was under the impression that Sundays weren’t kosher as blend days. I know the jokes about not wanting a vehicle made on Monday or a Friday, but damn, how about a Sunday?
  5. đź›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Curiously the ordertrack.app is now showing a blend date of Sunday, 3 April. Window sticker staying with the original blend date and daily order #
  6. Any experience with the smaller profile lights for use on the A-pillar mounts?

Given how infrequently they will be used and most often used as highbeam supplements for higher speed, Texas two lane farm roads out east, it seems to me I don't need the expense, appearance (really don't care about the 'look' of adding on lights) or wind noise that goes along with the larger...
  7. C-Load 35x12.5r17 Toyo AT3s?

During my weekly "what tire should I get for a vehicle I don't yet have after the stock ones wear out" research, I noticed that Toyo added a C load rated 35x12.5 model to their Open Country AT3 spec sheet. Anyone familiar with this? A brief Google session hasn't revealed much, and the specs...

Interesting you got road shipping being as far from Michigan as you are, after seeing how long rail transit takes I'm a bit jealous Hell, even during the pandemic the Germans could put a car on a boat and get it to a US dealership right at the two week mark. Ford struggles to get a domestic...
  11. How Frequent Are You Spotting In The Wild

Near daily occurrence here, but then again its Houston, there's a shitload of cars
  12. I removed my roof panels - once is enough

As someone who has enough eastern European heritage to be allergic to the sun, agreed. Couldn't care less if the roof comes off, but doors? Hell yeah.
  13. đź›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Window sticker showed up for me today, 04/04 blend, 4219 rotation number and 199/511 place in line for that day
  14. Aviation Photo and BS thread

Realized I forgot to post the pictures of the little bit of Cubbin' I did back in January. Froze my nuts off, but stick and rudder from the back seat is quality time. Had the small runway at Hooks all to ourselves for an hour, a rarity on any day.
  15. Aviation Photo and BS thread

Man this makes me jealous, for all the flat land we have, almost all of the grass strips are private use airparks, and we are a loooooong flight in a Cub-type plane away from anything resembling pretty scenery you can land on.

Eh, noting wrong with that. We did the same, but the value just isn't there when you start to option one up. A Rubicon with the boxes ticked to try and recreate my WT build (4a transfer case, hardtop, adaptive cruise, etc.) is a $59k vehicle that is on smaller tires with less room inside and...
  17. DIY Mud Flaps, functional, low cost, and low profile

    This is outstanding, thank you
  18. Rokblokz mudflaps installed on Bronco
