  1. Winch setup For Modular HD Bumper?

You can put the truck in Baja mode then engage 2wd with the button. It’s sport mode for the Badlands.
  2. Stronger Battery / Optima's Yellow Top battery?

I really like the 4XS batteries. Unfortunately it looks like they went from a 5 year warranty to a 3 year warranty on their AGM starting batteries.
  3. Sunrider for Bronco Hardtop - Walkthrough Video

Mine wasn’t my primary vehicle until recently and I haven’t driven it in the winter, so only 6400 miles. The noise has been there all along. Mine shifts smooth and drives fine. The noise is noticeable when it’s sitting in neutral at idle, and goes away when I push in the clutch (trans stops...
  4. Sunrider for Bronco Hardtop - Walkthrough Video

I need to take mine in before the bumper to bumper warranty is up in December. I will swap back to the hard panels before I do as I’m sure they’ll just blame the sunrider. I also need to get them to look at my “sound like it’s chewing on rocks” manual transmission. I did purchase the extended...
  5. Sunrider for Bronco Hardtop - Walkthrough Video

You could bolt it on without the rear shell in place, but the entire thing would have to be completely removed to reinstall the rear shell. Too much of a PITA.
  6. Sunrider for Bronco Hardtop - Walkthrough Video

Are you sure it’s the Sunrider leaking and not the water leak many people have? https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/water-leaking-from-a-pillar-airbag-cover-in-heavy-rain.19657/page-24#post-2011070
  7. Anyone running 285/75/17 tires on their Bronco Badlands wheels?

The OEM KO2s on my 2021 non-sas Badlands were definitely C-rated. The 285/70R17 KO2 is available in C or E, Ford puts C on out trucks. If yours came with E it was a mistake. Ford buys enough tires that they can get whatever spec they want. E rated tires ride hard because they are designed...
  8. Sunrider for Bronco Hardtop - Walkthrough Video

I installed mine in spring 2022, removed it October 2022, reinstalled April 2023 to present. I haven’t had any issues with mine, but my Bronco has 6300 miles on it and spends most of the time in a garage as I had a work vehicle until recently.
  9. 34x10.5r17 KO2’s…

I like the look of the Falken, but I can never figure out why they are so heavy.
  10. 34x10.5r17 KO2’s…

I don’t think 66# is ideal. The stock 285/70R17 BFG are 50.5#. The Toyo’s I went with are 59# each which was heavier than I wanted, but I swapped to Method wheels that are 25# each instead of the stock at 28# each, so the difference isn’t too far off from stock.
  11. Bronco Cactus Grey + Sherwin Williams garage wall paint match

I like the gray color. I’m planning on painting my garage and shop at some point, currently just white paint. What are you looking at for a lift? It doesn’t look like you have much ceiling height to work with. I’ve been looking at lifts for my shop, I’m limited by the 10’ ceiling so...
  12. 34x10.5r17 KO2’s…

Many of us are running 285/75R17, I think this is the ideal size for a non SAS Badlands at stock height. They are available in an C load range rather than the too heavy E load range that many tires come in. Others who want a little more height and are ok removing the crash bars are running a...
  13. Anyone running 285/75/17 tires on their Bronco Badlands wheels?

    I couldn’t find a weight. 56 pounds is very reasonable, but I don’t think I’d risk the E.
  14. Anyone running 285/75/17 tires on their Bronco Badlands wheels?

All options are E. I like Cooper tires, I just installed a set of Cooper Road and Trail on my 2001 Expedition.
  15. Anyone running 285/75/17 tires on their Bronco Badlands wheels?

Nope, E rated. Probably some heavy tires.
  16. Anyone running 285/75/17 tires on their Bronco Badlands wheels?

    I still average 20 mpg on my 2 door 7MT with the 285/75R17 Toyo AT3 C load.
  17. FORD PERFORMANCE TUNE UPDATE 2.3L Manual -- disabled my auto start stop and rev-match

I purchased the ford procal when it first came out but haven’t installed it on my truck yet as my local Ford dealer won’t install it unless I bought it from them. I haven’t bothered to find another ASE tech to do the install. Now I may not bother as Rev match was something I wanted most.
  18. Manual, 2DR, VB Badlands -- resell trap?

    I have a 2021 2 door badlands high 7MT, MSRP $47K, 6K miles. Carmax offered $35K when I checked end of June.
  19. Advice Needed: Replacing my 2021 Badlands 7MT

I concur with limited use of 6th gear in the manual. I have 285/75R17 (33.9”) on a 2021 Badlands non sas (4.70 gears). I noticed that the boost runs high in 6th gear on any grade and started using it only on flat ground or downhill. I can get 20+ mpg on trips up to VT.
  20. New Hampshire

I have a couple decades of wheeling and attended offrodeo in October 2022. I found it to be fun, but I didn’t really learn anything. My wife was able to get a bunch of seat time, so the experience was worthwhile. It’s a nice location and a good program, worth going regardless.
