  1. Synthetic winch rope demystified

I’m running the same synthetic cable on my utility winch since around 2005, and it was used when I bought the winch. It looks a little frayed, but hasn’t failed yet. I mainly use it for pulling vehicles onto a car trailer or pulling cut logs around, nothing really dangerous. The enemy of...
  2. Florida Scams

I got scammed on a rifle scope mount, $125, a couple years back. The red flags were there, but I had gotten complacent. Lesson learned.
  3. Looking to order a Bronco here soon, tire questions!

I agree with you on the Badlands non SAS vs SAS not being completely cost effective because last I looked they are charging you $2K for the auto trans you aren’t getting. The non SAS has more suspension articulation because of the smaller tires. I spent about $1300 net to upgrade my wheels and...
  4. Mabett Transmission Skid Plate Fits Bronco 2021 2022 Bronco 4DR 2.3L Available Now!

The skids are all the same. It was a weird issue, but at the end of the day not a big deal. I left everything a turn loose from hand tight until all the bolts were in. My only other options would’ve been to use the die grinder to extend the holes in the skid plate a little to let it slide...
  5. What type of V8 Bronco would YOU buy??

I would take a 7.3L V8 in a Bronco, I might even opt for the auto transmission to get it. The modular motors seem too wide for the smallish engine bay, the 7.3L could fit maybe. The inline 6 option (still needs a turbo) would be great too. In reality this is just mental mastrubation, as Ford...
  6. Looking to order a Bronco here soon, tire questions!

If in doubt go Sasquatch, it’s a good deal on all the extra kit and will have better resale later. If getting the auto trans I see no reason to choose a 2.3L over the 2.7L except for saving $2K, I’d much rather have the extra power. I went 2.3L with the manual trans, no SAS with manual option...
  7. Mabett Transmission Skid Plate Fits Bronco 2021 2022 Bronco 4DR 2.3L Available Now!

I bolted mine on last weekend. Everything fit well until I was bolting the engine skid back in place. The passenger side was problematic, the rear edge of the recessed ā€œconeā€ was hitting the trans skid. I loosened the trans skid and pulled it towards the rear with a ratchet strap and pulled...
  8. Buying TPMS Sensors

No programming on mine. I installed the new wheels and the sensors programmed automatically in a few miles.
  9. Buying TPMS Sensors

I second the Tire Rack ones. They have been flawless since I got them last Spring.
  10. RC High Winch Mount & Winch Install w/ Control Box Relocation

Not a touchy subject, Iā€˜m not a fan of any blatant BS statements on the forums. If left unchecked they are later quoted and eventually become the perception in our hobby. The HF winch may be fine, I don’t know as I don’t have one. I have no dog in this fight, the last Warn winch I owned was a...
  11. RC High Winch Mount & Winch Install w/ Control Box Relocation

What are you on about? The Zeon is assembled in Oregon, the HF is made by slave children in China. Warn does use global sourced components in the Zeon, but the assembly is advertised as being done in USA. https://www.roundforge.com/articles/warn-winch-made-usa/
  12. Rubber floor mats recommendation?

I like the Weathertech in my Badlands with the washout floor. I couldn’t find any other aftermarket mats with separate part numbers for washout vs carpet.
  13. Everglades wheel sets are now available on Ford Performance Parts site

Method has several options in +35mm, perfect fit for a non Sasquatch with 285 wide tires. I’m happy with mine.
  14. Texas Audiofrog GS42 4" Speakers

Seconds, will pay with Venmo or Zelle.
  15. 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution EV Pickup Truck Concept Official Reveal āš”ļøšŸ

I owned a 2022 Lightning Pro for a couple months. I agree with you on the standard F-150 design being unobtrusive. It was awesome to drive and the acceleration is savage, but electrics aren’t ready for prime time yet. The ~200 mile range, poor charging infrastructure, and extremely high energy...
  16. California SOLD NO LONGER AVAILABLE Like New Weathertech All Weather Floor Liners with Bronco Emblem

I have Weathertechs in my 2 door, I can’t say I have any experience with the rear mat as I removed my rear seats, but the front mats fit perfect and give good coverage. Weathertech does offer different part numbers for carpet vs washout floors, mine are for the washout floors in my Badlands.
  17. 2023 guest prices...

For $595 the second driver should get their own Bronco. With the voucher my wife cost $145, well worth it for that price. All in I paid $255 including the optional insurance.
  18. Which of these snatch ropes is the correct one for me?

I also went with a 7/8ā€ rope based on the weight of the Bronco. My most likely use is in deep sand, so a kinetic rope is usually the right choice. I carry a 30ā€ strap as well, good to have options. I did a bunch of reading before ordering and ended up with the Grip On brand. I purchased two...
  19. IAG V2 Steps

The screw will bite into the back side of the step. I fitted some stainless washers and neoprene washers where the screws hit the factory rock rails. I was concerned about rust over time.
