I went to order one today and was told they've only sold 5 so far and won't have a version for the Dana 60 until mid summer. BigMeats- will you please get one and let us know how to fabricate brackets to mount their truss? You know you want one :)
I don't have the water/meth yet but Map 5 is amazing with 70% 93 and 30% E85. Why is map 4 the danger zone with water/meth? Are you using JB4's meth controller or Snow Performance?
Thanks. I wasn't aware that going to portals decreased wheel travel. How much flex does going portals loose that makes it more significant than some extra ground clearance?
Would you have regeared to 5.38s on the back end rather than going to a Dana 60 if you were running 38s?
I wheel on narrow east coast trails and chose to beef up the axles rather than going portals because I didn't want to go wider. I'm curious what drove your decision to not go the portal...
I have all of the upgrades you have on a 2.3. What I was most interested in seeing was how much of an improvement you had from starting out with the JB4 you were running to their final tune. Did you happen to dyno your initial calibrated rig that you drove in with? I'm trying to get a feel...
I understand what you are saying but I'm under the impression that is what is being done by the JB4 and switching maps between 93, race fuel, E85, is just like having a 'non custom' tune for each. Is that incorrect?
Can you please explain why it doesn't make sense and why a custom tune will still be needed rather than using the JB4 maps? (I realize a custom tune will get more goodness out)
As I understand from reading, it will reduce air temps significantly and up the octane and cause the motor to run...
A while back I got in touch with the Canadian tuner and he said there was nothing additional that he could do with a 2.3 but there was a lot of room for custom tuning a 2.7
