I was told by my 4x4 shop that the capable bumper would not allow the tow bar to be hooked up to the D-Rings the way it can on 3rd party bumpers such as ADD. Can anyone confirm or dispute this and if it is true, is there something that can be done to harden it? I don't want to mount a Blue Ox...

What dgorsett said. This is what we are talking about that needs to mount for the car. those silver pins line up with the stock Badland's hooks are. My ideal situation is finding a winch bumper that will allow a Blue Ox baseplate kit to function. Any suggestions?

I need to flat tow the Bronco behind a motorhome which necessitates removing the safety hooks and mounting a Blue Ox plate. Is there anywhere else that I can mount recovery points?

IMO the biggest reason to choose the Badlands is the availability of a manual transmission. For me, the enjoyment of driving a 2 door manual every day far exceeds my desire for a better suspension.

To summarize, I am not getting what I want and never will but can continue waiting to pay whatever the new price is for something different. Upside, if they still don't get their shit together and I get pushed back further I don't have to pay any more than their original price increase...

I placed an order for a 2 door Badlands Sasquatch 2.3 manual tow package in Cyber Orange on the last day. As my build will be in 2023 at best and Cyber Orange is being discontinued will I be forced to change colors or is Ford honoring their existing orders?
