  1. The gas shortage.

Alright, I don't want to get political and if this gets me banned so be it, but I can't sit idly by while you spew such nonsense. A bat covered in barbed-wire, or more commonly a bat with nails in it is a terrible weapon for the zombie apocalypse. A bat won't do heavy enough damage to...
  2. Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy

How is it possible that the Black Diamond gets one measly MPG better than Sasquatch? The added weight of the steel bumper can't be so bad that it yields the same MPG as a beast riding on 3" bigger tires with a similarly heavy setup.
  3. Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy

As a fellow Minneapolis resident with a car averaging close to 31-32mpg... Oof this hurts to see. Knew it'd be a hit, but damn.
  4. First Fuel Economy Numbers Seen on Window Sticker = 16.9 MPG (converted) for Sasquatch Badlands 4-Door Bronco 2.7L

I mean this is a 4 door sasquatch. This should be the floor for fuel economy. Depending on engine, trim, 2 v 4 door, etc. some models should be able to eek out an additional 3mpg.
  5. 2021 Ford Bronco Full Tech Specs

This makes sense as it was stated previously that the Squatch does have an extra half inch on the badlands (ignoring tire diameter) when everyone was trying to figure out if the suspension on the badlands is identical to the Squatch package or not.
  6. Tow Package contents / components?

It's been circulating around the forum. I think some of it comes from Bronco Nation, some of it from users, and I think some of the dealers who frequent this forum have confirmed commodity restraints on tow hitch communicated to them from Ford.
  7. Tow Package contents / components?

Unless Ford has been keeping information from the public about alternators, cooling, or batteries (which at $600 I doubt/who does it serve to not advertise why the cost is justified?) it only is the hitch and a 7-pin connector.
  8. Car Color and Its Effect on Value

I'm not sure why a white car in Minnesota would be problematic. Living in Minnesota I can say several things: 1) white cars are super popular here, along with grey/silver, and black. 2) in the winter roads are a mess with salt and grime that often can't be washed off for some time when it's...
  9. Let's talk coolers

My wife and I got a yeti 45 as an anticipatory accessory for the Bronco for our birthday from my family. I come from a backpacking background for camping so have never needed to concern myself with coolers beyond just a small light coleman to keep stuff cold for a few hours. Holy hell was I...
  10. Gas stations running out of gas!

Why... do you... type... like this??? Out of... breathe???
  11. Gas stations running out of gas!

Yes, because Time Warner with a market cap of $80 billion has a vested interest in nationalizing media. You nailed it!
  12. My takeaway (one surprise)

Coming from a Fiat 500, all these comments about it feeling small on the inside have me feeling better. I don't want to feel like I'm sitting in a cavern when driving this thing. I like having everything nice and in reach.
  13. Rugged Toyota Sienna Woodland Towing/Sleeping Capacity

I mean let's be honest, this thing is probably perfectly capable to do 99% of the driving that 90% of us here expect to put the Bronco through and would do it with more practicality and comfort too.
  14. When must Ford provide MPG estimates?

Not to mention, the constant retort of "it's a 4x4 off-road vehicle, MPG shouldn't matter/I don't care what MPG is" is such a flawed argument when it ignores that MPG still matters greatly because like it or not, the true offroading community, the ones who truly don't care about MPG because this...
  15. When must Ford provide MPG estimates?

I was projecting a bit out beyond this year as I envision gas is not going to stay below $3/gal for much longer and already in several places across the US it's already well above. Also your second point is not true. People have different concepts of value. It'd be like saying if money is a...
  16. When must Ford provide MPG estimates?

I imagine the thought process was: F150 < Bronco < Ranger; however, looking at MPG ratings for a 4wd F150 (2.7L) and 4wd Ranger (2.3L) the difference in combined MPG is only 1 mpg (21mpg for F150, 22mpg for Ranger), I imagine the Bronco will be worse than both. Was actually surprised the F150...
  17. When must Ford provide MPG estimates?

I mean, at 15,000 miles/year, assuming ~$4/gal, that's a $1,000/year difference in gas costs between 15mpg and 20mpg. It's not nothing for people who are maybe on the fence or people who are not as gung-ho Bronco or nothing consumers on this board.
  18. The Mini-Truck War Heats Up

Oh God. Figured it was early 2000s being it looks like a somehow worse SSR.
  19. The Mini-Truck War Heats Up

Y'all realize this is just some artist render of what they imagine the cheyenne would look like right? It's not actually what it would look like.
