  1. In-Use Vehicle Testing Letters

I’ve gotten a few of these letters over the years. Never participated with my own vehicles but I have dropped in seeing them done. Very basic data logging stuff going on. No they absolutely will not address any issues that would have to be covered by your dealer.
  2. Anybody know what this plastic piece is under the Bronco?

It shows up on both sides in CAD models so it's possible that you're missing one though not sure why you would be. My best guess is just a water chute but honestly have no clue either.
  3. Question on Deep Mud and mechanical issues 2.7 4dr Black Diamond SAS

Correct. A relocation is being planned for the model refresh to mitigate these issues. It was brought up in development but there wasn’t enough time or budget to be able to address the rather complicated change for this generation.
  4. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

Oh I get what you’re saying. I do not believe anything on the F/F was changed at all. And in regards to the 3.0 Nano they didn’t change a whole ton compared to the 2.7. Water pump should be the same between as should coolant hose routing. Coolant control valve is in the same spot I know that...
  5. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

Yes both Nano motors use the same setup. Not specific for this but for most things you will want to assume that a Warptor is a 3.0 Badlands. Developmentally speaking, that’s exactly how it’s built. What’s missing from the cat? The diagram you posted looked accurate to me Nope they run...
  6. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

The fluid-to-fluid heat exchanger functions multiple ways. It allows faster operating temps of the transmission from a cold start/in cold climates and well as dump excessive heat during heavy load. There is a control valve as well The auxiliary fluid-to-air heat exchanger on the Hogtor...
  7. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

They attach to the Rigid fog lights so you’d have to come up with a mounting solution. @flip has the hog specific end cap shown up? It includes three bolt locations for the Rigid fog lights.
  8. Any inside news on the painted modular top?

    I’m offended
  9. Now Windshield hold after chip hold? Anyone else hear this?

Of course. Just stating there was a changeover to a thicker windshield. Gorilla glass won’t be a thing because it’s actually not very viable for automotive glass but there are workings for coming up with something stronger.
  10. Flat Tow 2.7l Electric Brake/BMS time out. NTHSA claim

Haven’t seen anything as of today
  11. Ford Chat - Order Processing vs Unscheduled Clean Difference?

As far as I know, no that’s the initial status for a new order with no issues.
  12. Ford Chat - Order Processing vs Unscheduled Clean Difference?

There’s two columns for order status. The second column is the more relative info. Most will only read the primary status column which for you would say “In Order Processing” and the secondary status column with more detail about what’s going on in the first column would say “Unscheduled-...
  13. Now Windshield hold after chip hold? Anyone else hear this?

They increased the thickness of the windshield FYI for 2022.
  14. Clean Radar Detector Install DIY

Matrix dots generally don’t hinder performance. But it’s a Mike Valentine product so it definitely isn’t my first choice. This detector constantly gives max bogey counts for single source detections and k band is god awful. Which in Dearborn is truly unfortunate because the next city over uses a...
  15. Clean Radar Detector Install DIY

Very nice. I’ve got a V2 in mine. Mounted with a visor clip going behind the plastic header trim along the top of the windshield. Had to shim it with some foam but came out slick. I didn’t do a mirror tap just ran a wire from an add-a-fuse from the box behind the knee board.
  16. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

Warthog/Raptor will generally be referred to as Continuous Control Damping Suspension (engineering term for Fox Live Valve) for any components relating to suspension. H.O.S.S. 3.0 will generally be referred to as Rough Road Suspension. Racks between them are the same however the Rapehog...
  17. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

I know there was a lot of work to squeeze that cluster in there. I don’t know if the Raptor has a specific IP to accommodate or not I never got to dig that far. However should you be able to get the bezel and cluster it would absolutely work as far as functionality. People have been swapping in...
  18. Flat Tow 2.7l Electric Brake/BMS time out. NTHSA claim

As I’ve stated previously, this right now is the only way it’s going to be for a while. There may be potential for having a user option to appease both types of systems currently available on the market but there is going to be a LOT of behind the scenes work to ensure that it’s safe for...
