  1. [SOLVED] Getting Mini Deathwobble at speed

This sounds just like steering nibble. Kind of common especially on EPAS steering. Your caster does appear to be at and above the upper limit of the Sasquatch spec (3.18° +- 0.6) so I think it’s extra nibble induced from that. The software in the EPAS has a nibble control feature however it’s...
  2. Factory Fog Light Switch

For the IPC portion this should work. Not sure if it needs changed elsewhere. Only other thing I really can think of is the RCM but that’s a fickle one to mess with. 720-02-02 xxx0 xx--
  3. Factory Fog Light Switch

It’s likely the other change in the IPC that you made that was incorrect originally, 80, they were in the wrong spot completely let alone wrong so it probably messed with that.
  4. Factory Fog Light Switch

I normally cross check the 2021 F-150 spreadsheet since it’s the only model in existence that is on the same generation of programming (there’s small exceptions to that rule). The BCM changes were mostly bulletproof so no worries there. I’m not sure who put those IPC changes in but they were...
  5. Factory Fog Light Switch

I went through and verified your changes with notes of what specifically it's going to change and affect. I don't recommend changing defaults if they are already proved out to be correct, it adds to confusion later on if you make a list of planned changes and something wrong and you need to go...
  6. Factory Fog Light Switch

I believe it depends on what you backed up I’m not actually too for sure on that one. I think you can selectively restore modules if you backed them up individually before making a change. Also I think you can individually restore modules from the as-built online but again I’ve never actually...
  7. Factory Fog Light Switch

If that’s the case you’re changing all the wrong bits and are using data that’s incorrect because the total length of that line is 6 bits long not including the checksum, in total it’s two four bit blocks long. Your first change (8) alters the rate at which your distance until empty is updated...
  8. Factory Fog Light Switch

Your change in line 720-01-02 is wrong. It should be the following setting. The “—“ is the last two digits aka the checksum 720-01-02 xxxx 9x— My original Badlands Lux coding for reference in case you need to revert that line: 720-01-02 0A27 80DB I only changed the 8 to a 9 which enables fog...
  9. Factory Fog Light Switch

Can you list out your changes made. Trying to make sure you didn’t change the fog setting from LIN to direct wire as I’ve seen others mistakenly do before.

  11. Hard top vs soft top noise

Just curious where that number comes from. Both NIOSH and OSHA have 85 decibels for the upper limits (8 hours over a forty year career). But that of course deals exclusively with occupational levels. I’ve never seen a standard for general environmental noises
  12. 2022 Bronco Headlight Issue

Yes using ForScan In the BdyCM default should be 00 change it to 01 as shown below 726-74-01 xx01 xxxx xx—
  13. 2022 Bronco Headlight Issue

I’ve had one instance where the headlight switch was “dead” as in no illumination for the current setting. I forget the code it threw but I’ll see if I can find it. Everything still functioned normally after spinning the knob and it’s never happened again.

  15. Help needed: Dead Battery, where is the shift lock override? (aka Brake Shift Interlock, page 180 of manual)

It means whatever setting the actuator (brake) was in it will be left in. They’re not electrically held one way or the other but rather by a shaft driven by a motor when power is applied, polarity determining the direction. So if the parking brake was applied it will remain applied when you...
  16. What is this button?

A feature I’ve been waiting for Ford to implement for the longest time.
  17. Safety surprises - Is this normal?

This is true. It is shift by cable not shift by wire. Ford only started adopting shift by wire in the last decade and it’s slowly trickling through models.
  18. Help needed: Dead Battery, where is the shift lock override? (aka Brake Shift Interlock, page 180 of manual)

You can manually turn the parking brake ball screw shaft if you remove the motors. Not sure if the Bronco tool kit comes with the correct size bits to remove the motor but wouldn’t be surprised if it did. Alternatively you can wire up a jumper harness to actuate the motors. Would just need to...
  19. To Squatch or Not To Squatch on Badlands

Despite 4.10’s being perfectly fine in development of the Bronco. And still being perfectly fine for all generations of F-150 Raptors even the latest with factory 37’s The 4.7 wasn’t even supposed to be a factory option it was slated for being a catalog item.
  20. Day one front end noise service. Uodate

You’re misunderstanding, it’s the CV joint itself not the splines of the axle shafts
