  1. The start of decrapifying our sound system

Nice! I just got some Polyfil today to stuff my sub enclosure this weekend. Good to hear it really does improve things. I may stuff the others.
  2. 2.3L 7MT — lurching/stuttering in low gears between 2-3k RPM

Haha I just went for a quick drive before claiming that 700. Ok, fine, 750rpm going very slightly down a hill.
  3. 2.3L 7MT — lurching/stuttering in low gears between 2-3k RPM

If you think you're shifting too low in the rpm, like at 700 rpm from 1st to 2nd, then you're experiencing something different than the bucking described here. The ECU is giving your super early shift an acceleration/blip bump because it's trying to keep the engine from dying. It's a very slight...
  4. Floor mat recommendations (with carpet interior)?

The Ford mats I optioned in with my Badlands Lux leather are awesome. First party is totally worth it here.
  5. what tires are these?

"Digitally generated image shown. Actual vehicle may vary." You could overinflate them to get that balloon look 🤷‍♂️.
  6. Factory jack, enough height to remove front wheel?

Why would Ford include a jack then?
  7. Picked up my bronco last night……

What is the trigger to turn these on and what did you patch into to power them?
  8. Picked up my bronco last night……

I've seen some of those but I'd want the addon lights to come on and turn off with the stock lights, in relation to the doors.
  9. Picked up my bronco last night……

I've got the same complaint about lack of lighting. Tried researching what users have done on here and the LED rollbar and cargo lights are too smart; LED and talk to the Can bus. No bulb swapping and probably not even patching into the electrical wires powering the PCB boards with the LEDs. I'm...
  10. 2.3L 7MT — lurching/stuttering in low gears between 2-3k RPM

I've been following this thread for a while since before I had my Bronco. I wanted to chime in with some of my experiences 2,000 miles in. I think that I have some of the lurching described on a cold engine but I think that it only occurs for me if I'm shifting above 3K rpm. If I shift early and...
  11. High temps after JB4 and K&N

I have experienced this kind of thing with my tuned Saab 9-3. Installed a BSR "cold air" intake cone filter and once the engine had warmed up to optimal it was all about combating heat soak from the engine compartment. Ultimately I went back to the closed stock airbox setup and rerouted the air...
  12. MIC Top Wind Noise Poll

Is this the adjustment you're speaking of? https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/window-rattle-opening-door.55553/#post-1616717
  13. MIC Top Wind Noise Poll

I'm a 4 door MIC with headliner and roof racks. I think the racks are the cause of additional noise. Overall it's not that bad for a big brick.
  14. Modular Bumper .. anyknow the size of the Torx plus bolts?

Ya I was thinking of those thread size placards at Home Depot and Lowes that hang off aisle racks. Seems like you'd need a full thread pitch gauge set tool to check at home and how many people actually own one of those?
  15. Modular Bumper .. anyknow the size of the Torx plus bolts?

Can you take a screw out yourself and measure with a digital caliper? If you don't have your Bronco yet I could do that real quick and post the measurements.
  16. Hood flutter above 65 MPH

Ha no worries. I'm an idiot and didn't realize I already have the insulation installed. Don't know why I didn't notice it.
  17. Hood flutter above 65 MPH

I don't recall a sound proofing package when I ordered my '22 Badlands Lux. Would you mind sharing the Ford part number of that hood insulation? Hopefully it's in an accessible place and not the other side. I've seen IAG makes one but if there's a first party one I'd like to compare. Also I...
  18. Step side /running boards for 5 year olds.

There are numerous options available like this style: https://www.iagperformance.com/iag-v2-ez-step-add-on-for-2021-2023-ford-bronco. I think there may be an official Ford one that's coming soon too. IAG also has a full length clip on. I was looking at clip on steps but realized the $500+...
  19. B&O and Base Speaker Size and Location

Maybe they're counting the dash left and right corner 2-ways as 4 total?
  20. Wiper Replacement?

The Bronco is my first Ford so the blade mount type was new to me. It's called Pinch Tab. Some wipers across brands include additional adapters to make it fit, some won't fit no matter what configuration. Rain-X Silicone AdvantEdge fit mostly but didn't feel completely secure. Trico Force ones...
