I've washed my truck once and it was through an automated brush carwash. Everything held fine. So that's with mine stuck onto film stuck onto the hood. Not sure what it'll be like years down the road and if it falls off I'll just get another one. I kinda view it as a disposable accessory.

My local Ford dealer parts dept price matched the cheapest Aeroskin listing I found online. I think maybe it was Levittown Ford and they had it for $72 at the time. I, too, was unsure about sticking a semi-permanent accessory onto my hood and possibly ruining the paint if/when I ever take it...

I've had the Aeroskin II on for a while and noticed my hood fluttering again. I had previously set my hood bump stops to just about all the way out, up until the point it safely grabs the mount threads. After a couple thousand miles I've had to heighten them again. Seems like the wind pressure...

Haha I don't mind the jab. I think I purchased it in 2015 and it still works. Don't really see the need to get a modern one until it craps out.

I used Loctite copper anti-seize on my mod bumper screws, running board hardware, and mudflap hardware. Basically any screw or bolt I took off, it went back on with anti-seize.

It's probably not mounted the B pillar from factory since the doors can come off. But if you'll never take em off it is a good spot. Interested to find out how nicely that part will pair to the Bronco.
