  1. Hood deflectors - worth it?

Since this thread is getting activity, what all do you think about my post here? https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/aeroskin-ii-hood-deflector-flutter-test.50535/page-3#post-1729234 My last bump stop adjustment has only lasted 400 or 500 miles before I feel like I need to raise them again...
  2. Hood deflectors - worth it?

I've washed my truck once and it was through an automated brush carwash. Everything held fine. So that's with mine stuck onto film stuck onto the hood. Not sure what it'll be like years down the road and if it falls off I'll just get another one. I kinda view it as a disposable accessory.
  3. Hood deflectors - worth it?

My local Ford dealer parts dept price matched the cheapest Aeroskin listing I found online. I think maybe it was Levittown Ford and they had it for $72 at the time. I, too, was unsure about sticking a semi-permanent accessory onto my hood and possibly ruining the paint if/when I ever take it...
  4. Open or Enclosed car shipping

Go enclosed! Broncos are too fragile to be exposed to the elements.
  5. REV match with FORSCAN??

Rev matching takes the fun away!
  6. Throttle Response Controller... WOW!

Does more than just pressing the accelerator pedal harder, right?
  7. Throttle Response Controller... WOW!

The throttle controller will be everything your tune is missing!
  8. Throttle Response Controller... WOW!

I've got two manuals and they each have a SprintBooster. For me, these controllers are completely worth it for under $300.
  9. So 4A is not what I had thought...

    I'll just leave this here...
  10. 2.3L 7MT — lurching/stuttering in low gears between 2-3k RPM

Alright I've had my Hill Assist feature turned off since Nov 3rd and am happy to report the unexplained bucking I was experiencing in low gears/cold engine has completely gone away. It's worth a try to disable the Hill Assist for anyone that's experiencing this. There is some understandable...
  11. Aeroskin II Hood Deflector Flutter Test

I've had the Aeroskin II on for a while and noticed my hood fluttering again. I had previously set my hood bump stops to just about all the way out, up until the point it safely grabs the mount threads. After a couple thousand miles I've had to heighten them again. Seems like the wind pressure...
  12. Clean Radar Detector Install DIY

Haha I don't mind the jab. I think I purchased it in 2015 and it still works. Don't really see the need to get a modern one until it craps out.
  13. Use Anti Sieze Lubricant On All Screws AKA GOBI Rack Instructions

I used Loctite copper anti-seize on my mod bumper screws, running board hardware, and mudflap hardware. Basically any screw or bolt I took off, it went back on with anti-seize.
  14. 2023 sasquatch tires the same as 2022

You were too blinded by that candygram, Mongo!
  15. Clock weirdness

Some time zones are in half hour increments. But if this only started happening on Nov 6th then it's a DST "feature".
  16. Marks on inside of rims

You spent how much to perform your own tire balancing at home?? Were these gov surplus machines?
  17. Mud Flaps that look good -- recommendations?

+1 for RokBlokz as the ultimate choice. These are the Original/Long black/black full kit on a non-sas Badlands. They would not have interfered with the rock rails had I kept them. Long offers the most protection. Removing the front crash bar bolts was a B, had to use a PVC pipe as leverage on an...
  18. Quick Survey - Bronco or Defender?

The one with the manual transmission
  19. B-pillar mounted keypad.

It's probably not mounted the B pillar from factory since the doors can come off. But if you'll never take em off it is a good spot. Interested to find out how nicely that part will pair to the Bronco.
