  1. 7MT - 3rd gear notchiness?

I have about 800 miles so far on my Badlands. While I don't notice anything specific about 3rd gear, I do feel it helps to release the clutch more slowly while accelerating into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Once I hit 4th and above I can get my foot off the clutch as humanly possible.
  2. CACTUS GRAY Bronco Club

All of my external mods are finally on. I really think the Cactus pairs well with the black and dark gray.
  3. Pics of your Safari Bar please!!!

Greenlane 13". First mod I installed since it was so easy.
  4. Wiring problem installing M&R fogs

What kind of connector do they give you in that package to tap in to the aux wire? I have the Baja Designs pocket light kit and their pinch connector needs to be clamped down hard and snap to fully seat the wire. Could be that you're just not fully connected yet.
  5. First scratch

Those high prices are likely the cost to repaint the entire door. If stuff doesn't buff out it's better to have consistent color in one go.
  6. Sunvisors are useless

I've felt the same way. I'm 5'10" with the seat in the lowest possible setting on Badlands motorized leather seats. Being first at a stoplight with the visor down I cannot see any of the suspended string lights. I think they are most usable for highway driving into the low sun.
  7. Removing kick panel plastic to install new speakers

I have yet to pop this panel out myself but have this video saved for the day. Check at 10:25.
  8. Which bumper do I have?

The pictured Bronco has the standard "capable" bumper. It does not accept the bar you've posted.
  9. 7MT - Selecting Reverse

Just curious, did you get a resolution on this?
  10. Tire Pressure Range For Summer

Check yourself before you wreck yourself, literally.
  11. Tire Pressure Range For Summer

What tire pressure is recommended in the door sticker? The pressure will increase as the tire is driven and heats up. You have no means to pump in air yourself?
  12. Recovery Strap - Where do I start?

As already mentioned, Youtube is a huge resource for this. Check out the channels MadMatt 4WD and Robert Pepper, both Australian guys that do first hand testing and explain everything. When I was researching this stuff it came as a surprise to me that you can actually go "too big" on the kinetic...
  13. Any experience with JL Audio ACP112LG-TW1 Powered Sub?

Ok ya I was misunderstanding and didn't read the filter mode as "low-pass only". Sorry about that!
  14. Any experience with JL Audio ACP112LG-TW1 Powered Sub?

That unit looks nice and compact but with the point of a subwoofer being for low end, even subsonics, the fact that JL lists a "filter" range of 50Hz-200Hz is questionable. Just let the subwoofer take all possible low pass frequencies. Is the bottleneck at the amp, and with an integrated amp are...
  15. South Dakota trip

The Crazy Horse memorial is really neat and worthwhile to see. Highway 14A through Spearfish Canyon is nice and curvy if you get that far west. 5 cent coffee at Wall Drug is a must. I have zero experience offroading but have physically stepped in the clay muck that is the Badlands and it's super...
  16. USB drive file format for Audio

No way that NTFS would be recognized, although I don't personally have my Bronco yet to test. Safest bet is FAT32 with 44k/16bit MP3s. Most commonly vehicles that have multiple USB ports really only have a single port that is both power and data. The rest are simply power. Find the USB port that...

  18. 7MT - Selecting Reverse

Does it slot into reverse easier if you gas it a little? Give it a consistent push into gear with the gas when you meet that resistance.
