  1. Update: Rear Axle Tube - 1200 Miles Warranty Covered

I'm equally paranoid but also not entirely sure of what I should be looking at to visually identify a failure. Mine don't appear pretty, either, but what can I look for to ID a failed plug versus Dana being sloppy?
  2. Update: Rear Axle Tube - 1200 Miles Warranty Covered

Starting to think that refers to the hoist in the service bay.
  3. Vomit in Seat - Help

With the exception of being inside a vehicle, this describes our house's past week-long adventure with Norovirus...
  4. Beware: Trail Turn Assist causes axle weld failure that dealer won't warranty!!!

Interesting to hear. Stupid question from a n00b time - what's the best way - if any - to visually ID a good, bad, or "partially failed" plug weld on these? I've played with TTA a few times but now I'm a little paranoid.
  5. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

They've been on since Day 1 and the vehicle has received updates - but if these As-Built registries are continually updated, you would think official Ford dealer programming through FDRS for a keypad would have been pulled into those revisions. Wonder if dealer programming for, say, the JBL...
  6. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

Do the differences noted reflect changes you personally made in Forscan?
  7. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

I'll have to look at that again, but my original experience was that it did NOT evolve over time. My Bronco wasn't built with the remote keypad locks, so had my dealer add them. Months later, reverted to AS-BUILT data from Motorcraft for BCM and a couple other modules to test something. In...

    Michigan Bronco Club

Really hope to make it - just seems our activities always fall on days where I'm on lead parent duty! :-(😭
  9. Total loss... 🤦🏼‍♂️ Engine bay fire burned down my Bronco

This was my first thought once I heard 2.7...
  10. Bronco First Edition 2-Door 1/25 Scale Model Kit from AMT

Saw the 3d printed prototype in person a few months back. Can't wait.
  11. Steering rack bushings cheap options and alternatives. Reviews pending!

I do enjoy videos that simultaneously praise and shame the free market. The "race to the bottom" to build a better mousetrap is not new, and it's not solely tied to a globalized industry.
  12. IAG steps - not holding up well to the elements

Mine are painted black but that shouldn't be an issue - there are other black painted metal parts underhood - both OE and aftermarket - that are most definitely NOT rusting.
  13. IAG steps - not holding up well to the elements

Funny you mention their hood struts - I've had mine installed since June last year and while they still work great, both the hood mounting hardware and strut bodies themselves are showing considerable corrosion. IAG was great in replacing them quickly but noted this must be tied to Michigan's...
  14. Dealership service denied

Where in MI? I've time to kill between dropping and picking up the little one at school.
  15. Ford Celebrates 4X4 Day As America's Top Seller of 4X4 Trucks & SUVs

Happy refresh last year's press release day, everyone!
  16. Everglades trim discontinued. No longer on the B&P page.

Alas, welcome to B6G... Wish I had access to an Everglades locally; curious if Ford wired the winch the exact same way as the accessory kit or if there were any revisions made. (I'd also like to see if ground clearance is affected by the winch compared to my 2.3L BaseSquatch with mod bumper...)
  17. Is this the service I can expect from Ford?

It's increasingly common amongst dealers, yes - but not just Fords. I wouldn't hold much hope for finding a loaner whatsoever any more. Despite not having a CEL currently your vehicle more than likely has the error codes stored "deep" within. Dealer should be able to see that pretty quickly on...
