Thanks. Didn't see that in the post, and hadn't had a chance to go through all of your G-Drive photos
.
Looks like that particular grommet is apparently accessible, but the one I was shooting for/ asking about appears to not be. Drat.
Okay, but...
How am I supposed to do that when there's a heater box completely blocking access to either of those passenger-side grommets? Maybe I'm not following your process correctly?
First, thank you for all this. Second, can you provide any more detail as to how you did this particular step? I don't need to install the prep kit but I was hoping to take advantage of the larger passenger-side firewall grommet to pass wiring through - but I found the heater box made accessing...
I like these in general, but I find the white accents just clash with the black trim, especially on Race Red models. It's why I wound up going with black rocker stripes on my basesquatch instead of directly mirroring the white stripes on our '65 Mustang.
It's literally in the owner's manual. Going to need to make sure your new fob is identical in button count and frequency. This is a finicky process to be prepared to spend some time trying it...
Not as good as Jeep's pink was, but nice to see something other than blue-grey or silver.
That said, if I had a nickel every time I saw an M-plated vehicle in Detroit wearing an odd shade of paint that never wound up in the product lineup, I'd be able to buy a Braptor.
Good eye. Looks like...
@WILDcardOD I notched my end cap with a grinder wheel so I don't have to pull it every time, but I don't recall having to ream the hole itself for the quick-attach coupler I use.
What front bumper do you have? If you have a modular there are two mounts built in to the bumper underneath the end caps.
Otherwise, I thought I saw Jeff's Bronco Graveyard might sell some that bolt to the trail sights? I think there are others on the market, too (I have a few from TrailRax).
Yikes. I think I'd try and see if I can't buy those plastic pillars from a dealer, as the tabs that hold the window in place are small and rather fragile. Many people have busted those without even trying to install a mesh window in its place.
NM; looks like this wouldn't cover the area affected on yours.

Getting a paint to match would...
It's a Ford dealership smack dab in the middle of Dearborn, within spitting distance of the world HQ. If allocation of special models is still determined by store volume, shouldn't be surprising Village can get it.
I *think* I would prefer to do a PCV catch can, but I gotta say I'm REALLY loving the design and placement of the Ford Performance kit. Underhood is getting cramped with winch solenoid and whatnot, making installing other designs difficult if not impossible.
Wonder if I can't pick up the Ford...
