Did this eons ago with a fob from AliExpress I bought for under $20. Nice to have one set as a "valet" key with both MyKey active and an uncut key blade (no means to unlock glove box or center console).
I have the switch already and I have it enabled with Forscan, I just need to splice into the junction block near the underhood since base models don't have fog wiring run to the bumper. And I'd rather see someone do it first before venturing into that alone. :-)
FINALLY got my ASFIR fuel tank skid installed...
...but didn't get the transfer case skid bolted up, as it looks as if I need to take a die grinder to a couple holes.
Unfortunately, it needs to be off anyway, as I discovered what appears to be a slow leak from the xfer case.
Off to book a...
Haven't installed mine yet but I also never intended to run a light bar up front - I have a pair of Hella 500s at the moment (which will be replaced with similar sized/shaped LED lamps at some point) that should flank the winch fine.
Sorry, on mobile while taking my daughter to doctors' appointments. Missed that detail while trying to calm a fussy toddler...
Still eligible? (It *was* my signature photo, btw, which is all your #1 entrant had...)
Just received mine back from having the TSB work performed. Pleasantly surprised with how easy this process was - dealer verified fraying, ordered parts, and was ready to perform the work three days later.
Added bonus - the replacement top is the updated design rolled out in MY23, which has the...
I had this done yesterday while mine was in for the torn soft top TSB replacement (it now has the MY23 design, so that's kinda neat) and the seatbelt recall. Didn't realize this was available at the time, but dealer flashed it for me.
Don't really have much feedback since I've only had the...
Not trying to beat a dead horse/ thread here, but since I'm going through this situation and finding this popping up in my search results, I wanted to let others know Ford has a technical service bulletin for this exact issue, and declares it to be something covered by new vehicle warranty. TSB...
Haven't really noticed this, but I'll report back once Michigan winter settles in.
Have noticed upon initial cold start that shifting from park to drive or reverse nets an alarmingly clunky noise.
Why are answers to non-sensitive questions being sent over PM instead of clarifying for the thread/ forum at large?
In any case, if we're able to reach the 20% tier, I'd be interested in seeing what a set of five MR70578560800's would run me. What sort of shipping charges are we potentially...
No, the mount's designed to stay mounted. Not sure why you'd need it to be a temporary fitment as it doesn't impede legroom for the passenger but there's a use case for everything. I don't leave my radio clipped to it all the time, though.
I paired this base mount with a holster designed to accommodate a radio's belt clip, and it holds my Baofeng GMRS handheld pretty well. Haven't had any complaints from passengers of it getting in the way.

I did, as I have an AAL power cut-off switch lined up to mount there...but it escapes me at the moment.
I want to say M6 or M8? I'll have to rife around in my hardware drawer to see.
