  1. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

That presumes dealers are well-versed in that proper procedure, and from my experience, that's a big ask.
  2. Forced armor upgrades: aluminum pan, ARB skid plates, Icon 3" lift

Thanks. Yeah, knew the level check was going to be a PITA - have plenty of ULV handy and buying some heat-resistant gloves as well.
  3. Forced armor upgrades: aluminum pan, ARB skid plates, Icon 3" lift

I have installing my PPE pan on my "to-do" list for later this month. How did you (or your husband) find the installation went? Particularly curious on how much fluid it took to achieve a 'full' reading, and how much of a PITA checking levels was.
  4. Ford Releases 7 Pin Tow Wiring for Factory Installation

I have no idea. I'm going off the kits instructions and they specifically show FDRS.
  5. Ford Releases 7 Pin Tow Wiring for Factory Installation

Interesting kit. I installed the Tekonsha 4-way kit this summer and, generally speaking, it's okay for my purposes - but this is still somewhat tempting. Looks like re-pinning might be a bit of a PITA, though. Glad I at least have the hardware to handle the FDRS programming portion myself.
  6. Ford dealership snapped bolts to skid plate.

Could be worse. Mine snapped a skid plate bolt while **re-installing** it on its FIRST-EVER oil change. I still don't know how the f*** you screw that up, but glad the dealer fessed up and ordered a replacement.
  7. Analog Wheels on a 2023 Bronco - Fifteen52 Photoshoot

Saw that right after I posted. D'oh.
  8. Analog Wheels on a 2023 Bronco - Fifteen52 Photoshoot

This is GORGEOUS, and is NOT helping my lust for the Analog HDs. What did you do to create the center caps? They look amazing.
  9. *Removed*

Wow. I'm so glad you all are OK. This hits a little close to home as I was run off the road three days ago by a semi driver who insisted on occupying my lane at the same time I was in it. Thankful for having runoff in that case; another 1000 feet along there wouldn't have been.
  10. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

They looked like this ex-factory: It's subtle but I'm not about brash, shouty mods.
  11. Proper 4-pin wiring kit to Buy for my '23 Black Diamond?

If your tail lights look like this, you have halogen/ non-LEDs. If your tail lights look like this, you have LEDs.
  12. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

"Backdated" my non-signature tails to have a little more old-school appearance.
  13. Deluxe Raised Cargo Area Enclosure Install & Review

C'mon, son; you can't tease us like that - can you share more details? A lot of us are looking for a solution like this.
  14. KICKER KEY 200.4 IN STOCK .

Thanks. Already have a mounting plate from Mountains2Metal that should work for tucking it away. Will give him a call.
  15. KICKER KEY 200.4 IN STOCK .

Which kit did you purchase? Looks like I can snag the 4.300 at a decent price locally, so would want to just buy the necessary harness to install it.
  16. What made you choose Bronco over Jeep Wrangler?

A number of content/ feature availability things, but it ultimately boiled down to design character. I'm sure a Wrangler would be plenty of fun, but they never made me turn my head or smile, nor remind me of the vintage Ford I grew up around.
  17. Failed software update, unable to start vehicle!

You're also probably going to want to have a decent 12V power supply that can keep the battery fed while you're doing all this. OBD-II isn't exactly a fast data bus so these processes take some sweet time - and running out of power in the middle of it is the last thing you want.
  18. $10 Kia rear view mirror install w/ homelink, auto dimming, compass (updated w/ videos & pics)

I had this (or something similar) installed in mine. Found the autodimming function never really worked as well as I would have hoped - both the spare tire and and the pet barrier I installed obscured headlamps enough where it never reliably dimmed - and the mirror bumped a bit against the FCW...
  19. Coil failure 8k miles in.

Having seen them get into small openings in house siding, I can't see that being any form of deterrent - apart from maybe directing them to chew a different harness underhood instead of the one going to your coil pack.
  20. Coil failure 8k miles in.

That wouldn't necessarily help things. I had mice make a nice little nest under the cover on my last truck, and they helped themselves to a wiring buffet dinner.
