Can't view remaining oil life in the gauge cluster unless I bring a vehicle to a complete stop.
Never mind I can reconfigure screens and scroll through other gauge menus while on the fly; apparently knowing estimated oil life is a bridge too far for Ford lawyers...
That's the exact scenario (well, apart from installing something else) that caused it to happen on mine. Not sure what brought it back as it returned 5 mins later without touching the fuse.
I haven't had time to take this to the dealer - and even if I had, I guarantee you they wouldn't be able to replicate the symptom, therefore wasting everyone's time.
Aware of the dipstick and filling point, just trying not to spend another $200 in tools if I can avoid it. Already have an extractor, but it doesn't work in the opposite direction.
Sorry to dig up an old thread but this just happened to me...lock and unlock buttons unresponsive until I manually unlocked the door. I did notice the other week that one of my keypads was also briefly unresponsive.
Has anyone else continue to have these issues, and if so, any resolution?
Thanks for posting this. I installed a similar pan on my last truck in order to gain a drain plug and make regular (partial) fluid changes easier to perform, and want to do the same on the Bronco.
Out of curiosity, how much of a PITA is it to fill with new fluid?
Keep an eye out for late-model Focus and C-Maxes in local pull-a-part yards; they had the same MAP sticker and often keep them 'till the end.
Until then, could always go old-school...
The LED pads for engine compartment lights are interesting, but...how weather-resistant/ waterproof are they? I know, I know; if I'm immersing them I have much bigger issues...but my engine bay does get a decent amount of splash-through just daily driving on the mud roads near home.
