I'm just a base, but it's still proving to be anything but "quick and easy." Factory harness still obscures a lot of that opening. Gonna try a pick set this evening and see if that helps any.

Did a test fit of mine this evening and seems to lineup okay, but...anyone have any tips/ suggestions for running the power wire through the mirror and into the body? That opening is not all that large and the OE loom eats up a lot of space. Did you all resort to fish tape/ coat hanger wire or what?

I wanted to emulate the Hi-Po emblem/ stripe design on our family's '65 Mustang GT. Adding an emblem from a modern Mustang helped, but fenders would have been cluttered if I left the Basesquatch emblem in place. Besides, if people can't tell this is a Sasquatch... /shrug

As someone who can't get into town (and to a dealer) without traversing several miles of dirt (and often VERY muddy) roads, I appreciate this being reiterated from Dearborn. I've had a few service writers look at me funny bringing in a muddy Bronco. Can't help it if a trip to the drive-thru...

Please do - going to be pulling the mod bumper this spring to install the Ford winch kit mount and figured that's the time to populate fog circuits. Would love to see what you encounter/ would recommend.

Why would aux switches have anything to do with those connectors being there?

There's allegedly one in development. Besides, Ford has made it pretty clear they don't really want to sell soft tops a la carte...seems like the market should be open.

@Just_Jim, thanks for your legwork on this. Going to try to leverage these photocell relays to power some additional cargo lighting. On that note - any reason you can think of that I couldn't take this approach with the cargo lamp assembly instead of the dome light?

I had installed a similar older-style Gentex Homelink/ auto dim mirror. Found two issues: one, its larger size did occasionally bump against the shroud for the FCW sensor, and two, the auto dim function never quite worked well enough in my vehicle. Front sensor certainly saw it was dark outside...

2.3L, 10AT in our 4-door Sasq. It doesn't *feel* fast but builds speed surprisingly well. Little sluggish off the line but once boost builds in second it moves pretty well. Seems to run out of steam a little at the top end when passing on the freeway, but not horrific.
