  1. Sudden Ubiquitousness

You know what’s crazy? I was on a six month deployment in 98 and they were everywhere we went. A bunch of guys brought them home for their kids and I’m sure they relished in the exclusivity for a while.
  2. Wife’s EG 2 door. magnums installed

Installed the front rokblokz and built the back. I was a dumbass and ordered the crashbar version and they were cool and offered to send me the parts for shipping cost but I built my own with pipe grade hdpe and bought some stainless bolts. It’s shinier but I had fun making it and it was easy. I...
  3. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

If you put the highpass on then your sub is going to be limited, so don't do that. You could go back into your harness and pull the input before the key and then do the 80hz highpass.
  4. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

You guys running the 4 speakers up front realize you're either running the amp at 2 or 8 ohms, neither of which is ideal, right? I'm not sure how the factory wiring is set up (parallel or series) but either way presents some issues: 2 ohm- you're running under the amps rated ohm load, it...
  5. Build week of: 10/10/2022 Spread Sheet Attached

I know it's frustrating. I really hope it comes together soon for you guys. Not trying to rub in that we got ours, just saying I think it's worth it.
  6. Build week of: 10/10/2022 Spread Sheet Attached

Hope y'all get yours soon. We've got about 900 miles on ours so far. Wife seems very happy other than the frequent fuel stops, but she drove a Volt before this so just about any fuel stops are too many.
  7. THE LIMITED-EDITION BRONCO™ DR

I'm sure you could get a tag in Florida.
  8. Any North Georgia Bronco folks?

We did forest service road 630 to Lake Conasuaga last weekend. A little muddy and major foggy so we'll have to go back so we can actually see the views. Cool ride, some ice road trucker style cliff edges but well maintained road, stayed in 4a the whole time.
  9. Wife’s EG 2 door. magnums installed

    New patches and door pockets
  10. Local installer says I need $800 processor just to get factory radio to work with an amp?

I was an installer when I was a kid. Here's the deal with local shops (most of them). They have a bit of a reputation to uphold and installing crap doesn't do them any good. I'm not saying the standard procedure of putting a kicker key in these with some coax speakers is crap but when you have...
  11. Getting Speakers and Amp installed

I'm about 600 deep in mine. Kicker Key 200.4 $270 Harness $60 Wiring $40 Adaptors $20 6 speakers, crossover components $179 ABS for dash speakers $20 I'd estimate when all is said and done, with just doing fronts I'll be 8-10hrs in, with the disassembly for research purposes a total of 12 so...
  12. Sub install that will likely be an incredible waste of time and money

I have. I don't really want to lose the cubby and I quite enjoy designing and building boxes. My front speakers will be here in a couple days, once I get them installed and see how the woofers do up front with all the work I have done on the enclosure, I'll decide if I will pursue the sub further.
  13. My 2023 Bronco Build (Black Diamond) -- Thoughts?

We have pretty much the same build, except two door. I have no complaints as far as the spec...it's pretty much maxed out for a black diamond. The stereo is trash, but at least you get a sub.
  14. Would you like to stay in Sport Mode?

I like eco mode. If you think the bronco is a dog in eco, try a BMW eco, complete neutering, a non-prompting memory would be nice though.
  15. Wife’s EG 2 door. magnums installed

Speakers and crossover supplies are ordered. Dayton 3.5" mids and 3/4" tweeter up top Goldwood 6.5" woofers in kicks Will install day before thanksgiving and can get a good feel for them on our drive to Florida. Also received Rokblokz mudflaps. I'm a dumbass and got some wrong parts and they...
  16. Proper grounding ?

If you're doing electrical work, get a meter if you don't have one. It takes the guessing away and prevents you from throwing things and swearing loudly when the wire you thought was dead isn't.
  17. Sub install that will likely be an incredible waste of time and money

I guess I like doing things the hard way. I've been looking at threads where folks have their side panels off and I think there is plenty of room in there to build an enclosure that won't take any of the limited space of the two door. I see the factory sub and similar installs but I don't even...
