Well, I have come to really love my sunrider top, so I will likely only really have a black top option. I liked the freedom panels, but the sunrider is much nicer for me.
I have been thinking that I need to have a white top, if I want two tone, but that third image, looks good with black top and two tone paint.
Ps. Curse you for this today, I have been working so hard to stay on my CO non-squatch BD build.
Now I see this and think, damn, squatched base with a...
I do the same cost comparison all day. Keeps me busy I guess, but I know deep down, retro fit will likely cost more than ordering what you want, in one way or another.
I don't get the 1" thing myself. I don't really think it looks all that different. I think the Sasquatch is visually pretty...
I think if you want to lift, change tire size, or do any suspension work, and you are like me, and really don't know what that entails, the Sasquatch is probably a good deal. Outside of of cosmetic changes, modding vehicles is getting more and more difficult. These are not simple vehicles...
Might have to wait for a white one (I hate the idea of just pitching the top, because it will probably not be in any kind of demand), or have a body shop paint it.
Thanks for all the info, I know it mostly confirms what 300 other threads said, but hey, got to kill the time somehow.
Probably not, and either painted like yours, or maybe sanded smooth.
I have read on the vinyl dye, maybe I will give it a whirl. Hell, I'm going to try wrapping the body and never have, so why not.
Lets not be silly, its plenty capable off road. That is a ridiculous statement. When did off road capable become sasquatch badlands only.
Jeeps been going off road far less capable than any trim Bronco for years.
Will it do everything a totally built sasquatch or custom can, no, but it will...
Doesn't look manly enough I guess. I rather like it, aside from the wheels, which I don't care for.
Hell, we are all posers. I'm buying a 10 year old's dream, now that I'm almost 60.
I think with the painted fenders, it looks a bit flat in the 4dr version, but that's just my opinion. I think...
The general consensus seems to be, it will be problematic to wrap the textured top. Seems reasonable considering how the adhesion works.
I have been looking around the net, and I am seeing some wrapped Jeep tops. My JKU top is textured in a apparently different way than the MIC Bronco top.
I...
Thanks for the pictures. Better than I would have done.
Mostly from this thread I keep thinking that picture of the base black 2dr looks so nice for so cheap. Throw on some Cragars and I would feel young (almost) again.
I agree with you. For us getting older (old) I think the simpler stuff has a appeal and a place maybe. For the coming generations, I just think they will never have the nostalgia or reason to want the other stuff. I'm a "car" guy, or at least what it means to me, in that I love my cars. To...
Get to Auto, manuals are a thing of the past really. Not much advantage to them. Fun yes, better for todays world, I don't think so.
My dad used to rail against front wheel drive cars, the last 20 years he extolled their virtues. Times change.
Sounds like you should get the BB Auto and...
The base is such a bargain, it will be cheaper than my JKU sport was (in all fairness, I am looking at the 2 door).
I'm stuck between
Base/Auto
Basesquatch (Seems most bang for the buck, but the 35's as daily worry me some)
BB with Mid package.
Lucky we have another month I guess.
2/3 years will make no difference, or at best, it will depreciate equally, so you will get the same percentage of original purchase.
Just as many young folks will want the 2.3 as old folks think the 2.7 is the best. World is changing, different age groups value different things.
Power is a...
