My wife hates the cloth seats and really likes the wheels for the Squatch. I told her we have her Fancy car for that stuff, and I just find myself caring less and less about it.
God, at this rate I will start walking everywhere and use a flip phone. sigh.
My local Mall has some pretty serious planters and I have seen more than one pot hole on the parking lot, do you think I will need both lockers and MT's, or just maybe...............a Camry.
Faster, not really. My Mustang had essentially the same time 0-60 in and out of sport mode.
That being said, I mostly only drove it in sport mode, until I got the tune, which simulated sport mode plus some other stuff. Main difference on the Mustang was it shifted more crisply and holds the...
A lot of what has been said. Maybe the last interesting car I will buy before my times up.
I think I should hold out and get some all electric vehicle, because I think that is the right thing to do, but I'm going to be selfish and buy the dream.
I'm there to a lesser extent. Mine is between the BD and Base. I know I don't need the BL, I will simply never do what its built for.
About to retire, have the funds to kind of get whatever one I want I guess, for the first time in my life, actually ordering the car I want, and I'm looking at...
I would say the tune itself is not problematic, that additional wear on the engine, is from driving the car hard, because you have the tune. In my case, the most dramatic difference was in the auto transmission shifting, felt like a 1960's Buick when I got it shifting, and completely different...
Well some have more money to spend, and some spend money they don't have. Everyone is a different place in life, with different things that demand more or less of their money.
I think all the models and trims are cool, and really feel like Ford did such a nice job on the Bronco, that you...
I'm very similar to you, Base to me, was Base plus Auto and V6, and Aux. If I go up, it will be BD, without Squatch. For ME, that's the sweet spot of value and versatility.
I think the price and from Ford is fine, but I keep going back to the fact, I have lots of gadgets these days, and I...
My Essentially stock JKU is 22.5" to the sill and and 17" to the step. She is 5'3" and 59 years old. She can get in without the grab handles or step, but very much appreciates that they are there.
Edit, JKU rides on 32" tires.
This is why I keep looking at base. I love this, for me, I think its cooler than big wheels and tires, but that's purely my own preference, not a better or worse things.
Tightwad curmudgeons, which is me. I don't know what I'll get, as it changes by the hour.
I love all the add on stuff, and my latest build I sent to Dealer was BD/Mid/GPS/adv 4x4, but I don't need any of that. Hell I probably took my dad's 2wd 3/4 ton pick up with camper hunting on roads...
Tough call, I could never buy a car and then barely drive it. I get your situation though. My buddies have "Sunday" cars as I call them, and really seem to like that they drive them more as a treat, than daily thing. Sounds like you are still unsure, I would get the base if I only drove it...
Just broke the news that the ordering was delayed until mid January. My wife said she cant take another month of me changing my mind everyday and explaining to her why.
Don't feel bad for us buyers, its our poor Significant others who are really suffering. lol
Late to this, but my JKU has cloth and as much as my wife doesn't like it, it is warm in winter and cool in summer. Did fade a bit with the sun beating down on it in the summer.
I ran a dIY screen door mesh top, and it is pretty nice. I will be getting non DIY janky mesh top for the new Bronc.
Vancouver WA,
Presently Looking at CO, Black Diamond, Mid, Build in GPS and Advance 4x4. Hoping I will see mine end of summer, was second day reservation.
