It was 102F here yesterday and I had to turn the A/C down after a few minutes it was so cold.
I spend part of my day in refrigerated spaces and walk around outside without a coat during blizzards, so it's not like I'm dainty when it comes to cold either. The Bronco A/C is no slouch.
You must have a lemon top. I rarely drive less than 70mph and get blasted with all kinds of crosswinds on the prairie, but the Bronco is no louder inside than any other truck or van I've been in.

I have the factory NVH options, but it's also a badsquatch riding around in constant prairie winds. I might slip a noodle under the panels eventually, but it's such a minor issue I'm in no hurry.
That sounds backwards. If the circumference is larger than what the computer thinks, you're traveling farther per unit time than it would predict, thus having a higher velocity in reality.
If however they used the theoretical 35" size rather than the real smaller value, it would over-predict...
Sounds like a question for the Edge and Ranger forums. "Why don't we have a backup like everyone else?" Or "How can we retrofit this common sense feature into our Edge/Ranger?"
Questioning why this vehicle has _more_ features is like trying to find something to complain about.
I anticipated issues like this and started with the passenger side front, because I thought I would see that one least often and if it came out wonky I wouldn't be triggered by it as frequently. :)
The rear ones were an order of magnitude easier.
