  1. Rear window folded in from high winds in southeast Michigan

Based on the first several months of top production they didn't bother to test it under ANY outdoor conditions -- the excuse for hard tops falling apart was exposure to the sun and moisture
  2. Rear window folded in from high winds in southeast Michigan

Something else going on here, otherwise windows would be blowing out every time someone drove on the highway.
  3. Using the windshield washer at high speeds is a joke.

I was confused by the OP's question too. I've put gallons of fluid through mine and they work great.
  4. New Height Adjustable Bilstein 6100 Series Shock Absorbers Installed on 2021 Bronco

That's a pretty terrible measure of their effectiveness. Unless it's poorly installed or washed out you should be able to cross a cattle guard in a Geo Metro going 40 and barely notice.
  5. New Height Adjustable Bilstein 6100 Series Shock Absorbers Installed on 2021 Bronco

Same shocks on a lighter vehicle sounds like a payload boost. They probably won't market it that way.
  6. Mud flaps for Sasquatch?

Something I picked up from a slider thread, you're better off trying to chop a couple inches off the factory slider than you are trying to modify the flaps to fit around them. I wish I had done that, so when I replace the factory body mounted slider with a proper one I don't end up with a...
  7. Dana 60 Axle is in !!!

This thread is sadly lacking in visual aides.
  8. Dealer insists it’s 6 quarts for oil change on my 2.7L

Because they don't want to pay for them. It is cheaper and easier (especially if they can't come up with tens of thousands of replacement parts on short notice) to just change the terms of the manual to 6 and pretend that's what it was supposed to be all along even though they continue to put 7...
  9. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! 🕵🏻‍♂️

How the **** are we still unclear how much oil the engine is supposed to receive on service after a year of production? All the delays and parts issues were dumb enough but this is just comically bad.
  10. Mud flaps for Sasquatch?

I drive miles of gravel every day, so gatorback mudflaps were waiting before the Bronco even arrived. No regrets. Those squatch tires throw more rocks than anything I've seen before. Just the perfect tread gaps for picking up gravel.
  11. Bronco vs. Deer

Many vehicles have the airbag sensors tied to the bumper, and a deer with some feet off the ground will barely touch the bumper. It can crumple the hell out of the hood or fenders, collapse the radiator etc. and not set the bag off. Even a fancier sensor based off sudden G-force changes will...
  12. How to read Pitch and Roll display / menu?

Yeah, if you're moving slowly, you'll probably **** your pants before it rolls over. Unless you have some crazy load strapped to the roof.
  13. 2024 Meyers Manx 2.0 EV Dune Buggy Reboot - Topless Alternative - Who's In?

Built one in highschool with my grandpa. It was fun, but didn't get used a lot. Another one of those vehicles I had once upon a time and wish never got sold.
  14. Car buyers paying more than MSRP feel lasting resentment

They have the manufacturers in their grasp too, and the brand reputations are suffering for it. Unfortunately the seething disgust for dealers is going to have to get a lot stronger to break their sales monopolies. They've been pouring money in politicians pockets for a long time.
  15. Does SAS package now come with front locking hubs?

Sounds perfect for the base trim. Honestly, having all those switches in one stalk just makes it stupid expensive to replace or repair. Two stalk "euro" design is better. And the auto high beam is spastic in every new Ford I've driven so I have to switch to manual every time anyway.
  16. New Swag from Ford -- Weather Resistant Playing Cards

With all the money they "saved" from the customer satisfaction funds that didn't go to customers you would think they could spring for something nicer.
  17. How long do you plan to own your new Bronco?

I get that conspicuous consumption is a thing, but on a purchase close to the average household income ... I'm a bit dumbfounded. I buy very few things with the expectation of getting rid of them. A $60k vehicle is supposed to be a 'durable' good, and my tastes aren't that fickle.
  18. GM cracking down of flippers, Ford next?

That's what I'm thinking too, the only party this benefits is Ford. If they want to do something useful and put a collar on dealers they better cancel warranties on anything selling more than 10% over MSRP as "new" also. Most of the warranties are expired by the time things go wrong by design...
  19. Got my windshield recall notice today, should I do it?

I'm in no hurry, but I'm certainly going to wait if they don't even have a replacement available.
  20. Seats hurt my back - am I the only one?

If you had an uncomfortable chair in your house, would that cause you to sell the house? Get one you like. Maybe you can't fit a lazyboy in there but plenty of options exist.
