Long, boring, photo-heavy post ahead but it was all really fun for me and my family.
Had a chance to properly use the Bronco last weekend and it genuinely surprised me. With all the hero switches and the cameras this is wheeling on easy mode. The camera option to show the front wheels, what...
He's cycling the suspension with a floor jack without moving the truck. They still need to install springs on this setup. Curious to see what the end goal is.
PA on the way back from Anthracite. It was amazing, btw. Fall is hitting hard and it's just gorgeous up there right now.
That inTech trailer is really sweet. New pricing on these things is insane, and used isn't all that much better. We just picked up ours 2 months ago, used, from a dealer...
I just wheeled Anthracite Offroad Adventure Area (AOAA) in Pennsylvania this past weekend and it was excellent. Good assortment of trails from easy greens to sketchy greens through black trails that'll eat a custom buggy. 8000 acres of beautiful, well maintained, well marked trails.
They even...
Found another benefit of the flip-down attic shelf -- I installed it with the @Dirtydog soft top headliner and now have the ability to flip back the headliner and run it strapped to the shelf rather than having to completely remove it when I want the open air feeling.
I just have 1 bungee...
These little trucks tow remarkably well. I'm about at the limit when our travel trailer is loaded down and has a full water tank but it moves out and stops fine.
Ford trailer brake controller, blue Sumo Springs, weight distribution hitch, 4.7 gears, and manual transmission help keep it all...
Got a new to-be avatar. Will post a trip/wheeling write-up in the next day or two. These trucks are crazy capable.
And heck yeah I've got mall-rated color matched D-rings. 😁. Amazingly I didn't need them this past weekend.
That schedule is fine with me, and I totally get the weekend away activities. All I look for anymore is a break from the routine and some different scenery.
If @mObridge is good with the timing we'll get it going. It gives us time to get the parts on hand.
I currently have Infinity reference...
@RagnarKon -- I was serious with my post above, and I do love a good road trip. Earlier this year I bought my truck from 5 states away, last month did a weekend drive to pick up a travel trailer from 6 states away, and 2 weeks ago drove to Acadia and back. We can make this happen. :)
If we can figure out pricing with shipping I'd buy it from you. Your competition is the IAG heavy duty winch mount since that's the direction I'm leaning
