  1. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Installed the @Mabett aluminum transmission skid today. Quick, simple bolt-on that worked great with the stock bash plates and swaybar disconnect. I'm heading to Rausch Creek in a couple of weeks and, while I'm not looking to beat on this thing the way I did previous vehicles, I wanted the...
  2. Color-Matched Hardtop 2025 Bronco Spotted in the Wild

I appreciate the uniform look, and maybe it's just my monitor, but it's very....brown.
  3. Stupid question about Sumo Springs center bolt

Many months later but yes, you tighten it down. Leave it loose so you can mock everything up and determine the proper side-to-side position to best align with your frame, mark that position, then remove the assembly from your truck so that bolt can be tightened and the assembly can be...
  4. Soft top sound deadening?

Seconding the Dirty Dog 4x4 headliner for the soft top. My wife was the first to comment about how much quieter the truck was after I installed it. It's a must for road trips. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/dirty-dog-headliner-just-arrived.92875/
  5. '21 roll bar rivet nuts retrofitted (mounting holes / locations drilled in rollbar)

I had that "well, we're gonna see if this is as tough as people say it is" moment while my neighbor looked on in horror as I took the drill to my truck. Despite the drilling this still counts as "accessorizing" rather than "modifying" in my book. I had to promise my wife I wouldn't dive into...
  6. '21 roll bar rivet nuts retrofitted (mounting holes / locations drilled in rollbar)

I was waiting for that question to come up 😄 Yes I made sure the truck was on a level spot in the driveway before starting. The shelf is parallel with the rear bumper, so it's only as bad as the '21 build quality...whatever that's worth lol
  7. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Completely forgot that I turned some wrenches last Friday. Replaced the clutch pedal spring with the softer Steeda one and swapped out the rear differential cover for the Ford Performance one for easy fluid changes. Out with the old: New spring and assembly freshly gooped up: In with the...
  8. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

I finally made the time to retrofit the missing rivnuts on my early '21 Bronco 4-door and install the @Mountains2Metal tilting attic shelf. Wasn't a bad job but it would have been a heck of a lot easier if I'd just bought the right step bit instead of working with whatever I could find in my...
  9. Upgraded from Ford tailgate molle to the BROADDICT tailgate table

I used the heck out of the @BA OffRoad tailgate table this weekend while working on some interior modifications. I kept piling on the tools and it never budged. By the end of the project I had everything on there without concern.
  10. '21 roll bar rivet nuts retrofitted (mounting holes / locations drilled in rollbar)

Thank you for the heads up! Any suggestion that reduces the random creaks, squeaks, and rattles of this truck is welcome.
  11. 6G Bronco Branded

  12. BROADDICT multi-accessory dash mount installed

Took a bit longer than planned because I got distracted by a separate Bronco project when I got home from vacation. I managed to dig up my traditional CB radio to show the mount, but this would really shine when running something like the Midland MXT275, which has a separate handheld microphone...
  13. '21 roll bar rivet nuts retrofitted (mounting holes / locations drilled in rollbar)

It's marketing-ish unless you have the right tools. The step bit went through it like butter. I started off with a fresh pack of these and, after the job was done, they were all pretty trashed: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9ZPWHXC Once I had the method down I used those bits to make the pilot...
  14. Mountains2Metal's New Flip Down Attic Shelf

    It was a good weekend :) https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/21-roll-bar-rivet-nuts-retrofitted.100247/
  15. '21 roll bar rivet nuts retrofitted (mounting holes / locations drilled in rollbar)

Continuing with day 3, when I was actually able to spend some real time on this and get it wrapped up... I was now able to get the stops in place and mark where the side holes would be drilled. Each mounting hole on the M2M shelf is elongated to ensure easy fitment so I made sure all reference...
  16. '21 roll bar rivet nuts retrofitted (mounting holes / locations drilled in rollbar)

Day 2 was a short one. I was fitting in the work when I could find the time. With the first side sort-of mounted I used the attic shelf along with the roll bar protector as my reference points for the second side. I made sure things were level when marking the next drill point. Temporarily...
  17. '21 roll bar rivet nuts retrofitted (mounting holes / locations drilled in rollbar)

The lack of mounting options on my early '21 Badlands was disappointing so I decided to fix it. Lots of photos and vendor mentions ahead. I ordered roll bar protectors from @StickerFab so I'd have a reference point for drilling the holes...
  18. BROADDICT multi-accessory dash mount installed

I've been away with the family in the wife's truck this week (Acadia is beautiful!) but will mount stuff up and snap some pics when I get home in the next day or two. Looking forward to catching up on projects during the upcoming long weekend.
  19. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

I have some catching up to do in this thread. Prepping the Bronco to comfortably pull a light travel trailer so there's been some activity both with and without photos. I installed the Ford trailer brake controller about a week ago. I followed the steps outlined in this thread and it was such...
