Maybe you overlooked the "Jeep claims" part of that of that statement? None of them have been independently tested yet. Maybe it will, we'll see in the near future.
Still, that's a lot of heavy with big, tall tires in a non-aerodynamic body with a suspension not designed for quick...
My main concern is an earthquake. Living where I do, bugging out really isn't going to be a realistic option. If (really it's "when") we get a big one, freeway overpasses are going to be down making the roads out impassable for days at least.
This being the case, home will be the place to get...
Of course! I just dropped $1500 on new KO2s for a Raptor I'm going to sell in a couple months (I hope).
I'm trying to not even look at that truck until my Bronco is on its way.
Badlands, beacuse the Wildtrak interiors (either one, doesn't matter) are abominations. The patterns are odd, the dash is tan color, and it clashes with about every color other than Shadow Black or Race Red.
Without the real info, I initially reserved a WT. Then pics of the real-deal WT...
Reminds me of a poster in the Raptor forums back in 2010 where he posted soemthing like:
"Hi all, I just got my new Raptor! It's a little high, does anyone make any lowering kits for them yet?"
/facecpalms all around
I was very strongly considering CG myself but ended up ordering VB. Then I saw the pics of the Bronco in CG in an ealier post in this thead, and it looks beautiful.
We're going to be fine either way it appears.
I'm actually glad I reserved a little late (07/15/2020) and then ordered 3 of the deadly sins (Sas, Lux, V6). That may give me time to update my order when the inevitable changes are revealed. Maybe the Wildtrak will get a decent interior?
No hurry...
Same thing happened to me.
Last July, I liked the overall idea of the Wildtrak, that is the trim I reserved. Then the pics of the WT interior were released. Oh my, noooo way, totally unacceptable for me. I'm out.
Converted my reservsation to an order of a non-Sas Badlands. I had seen the KOH...
That's hilarious! I'm gonna buzz out a few of those on my Cricut and stick them on friends cars when they aren't looking to see how long it takes them to notice.
Without really knowing anything at the time, on 07/15/2020 I reserved a 4-door Wildtrak.
Then came the B&P and many more pics and videos. Seeing these, I was aghast at the interior options of the Wildtrak. Apparently the designers who worked on the Bronco's colors were absent from art school...
Exactly this! That's how they really make their money. Know what you do and don't need.
Sure, they will change your oil on the cheap with the cheapest oil they can find, but when they "notice a small problem" (and they will notice, that's their $$$), they're going to charge you 3-4-5x the price...
