After a trip to Death Valley I heard a squeaking noise while only applying the gas. When changing the oil, I noticed that the front diff housing showed signs of a leak. I took it to the dealer but decided to drive in 2H just out of curiosity and found the squeaky noise had ceased. When I got to...
I would recommend having that checked out, from my understanding and driving experience you should be able to drive in 4A as a daily with. My BL is in 4A year round
That's not normal, I never had any binding in 4A since day one which is my preferred driving mode. This is the first time that I really ever used Baja Mode and if the dealer tells you it's normal go to another one.
I just got back from Death Valley a week ago and noticed a squeaking noise while driving in 4A. Switched it to 2H and the issue disappeared, had the oil changed and found stains on the front diff due to linkage. I took it to the dealer and they were able to duplicate the issue and will be...
I am really considering it, I found another video with the installation of the Hoss 3.0 steering rack, it looks a little extensive. I was only considering upgrading the tie rods but I don't think it makes sense to install heavy duty tie rods without upgrading the steering rack.
How To Steer #4...
The link below shows the replacement of an old front diff with a new one which does not involve the removal of the steering rack or tie rods. Therefore, the dealer would not have to remove any of those components during the diagnostic of my front diff. which does not allow me to take advantage...
My 2023 2DR SAS Badlands front diff started squeaking while driving home from Death Valley in 4A but while in 2H the noise ceases. During my trip I did have to engage the front locker on several obstacles and everything worked with no issues or error. While having the oil changed, we noticed...
I just installed the Rock Jock relocation bracket with my OEM rear trackbar and it is as straight an arrow. I even verified it with a level just for giggles and truly impressed. Thank you for creating a thread on the matter!!
After reading this thread, I am considering a Rock Jock tracbar relocation bracket. My question is, does it matter the height of the lift? I have the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 coilovers and not really interested in buying an adjustable tracbar.
My coworker snapped this photo today which is close to our office, does anyone know if he’s apart of this group or any local SF Bay Area Bronco club? I want to see if he is willing to meet up at Hollister Hills to hit a few trails. I initially was trying to get this moniker before the wording...
1) Transmission Skid Plate - Transmission pan is a plastic composite, if that cracks you are done.
2) Pro Cal Tuner - Better MPG, Power/Torque, transmission shifts smoother and Start/Stop delete
3) Winch - Being on a ranch, self recovery might be a thing also you will get the itch to do more...
I am definitely going to purchase the APEX RPV XL but I am a bit cautious since I am using the stock SAS rims. After seeing the XLs on your stock rims I feel comfortable with purchasing the XLs for my rims.
