  1. Your 2¢ - Squatch Tire Wear

Mine have 25k on them, good number of off-road and towing miles. They are spent. Have gotten three punctures this summer. Time for them to be replaced with something more robust.
  2. Resolved with Forscan: Wheel Sensor Reading, Please Help!

Bought a Forscan cable and used that. Found my issue. So I have one now if anyone nearby needs assitance.
  3. Resolved with Forscan: Wheel Sensor Reading, Please Help!

I suspect I have damaged my front passenger abs wheel sensor. All the codes and research I've done appear to agree with this. I attempted to measure it's viability using a multimeter but it wasn't doing what I expected. A typical OBD reader didn't do squat. I've ordered a replacement but it's en...
  4. Making my own Lux package one step at a time- USB ports on dash

Resurrecting an old thread to say, thanks OP for the inspiration.
  5. Seat belt issue but not covered under recall

^This Had the exact same problem after a trip to Moab (where I had doors off a lot). The top hinge had all sorts of gunk along the roller part. Cleaned it with ipa and a little toothbrush/toothpick and they are good as new.
  6. Planning for Modano Pass off-roading/camping

Awesome trail! Just did it east to west a couple weeks ago. The water crossings are great. And yes there is one nasty muddy section. I had to winch out. I'd think by August that would spot would be pretty well dried up. We camped north on Hermit Pass. That road is brutal. Super easy but rocky...
  7. GMRS antenna while towing

I suppose I was expecting better range while driving through mountain roads when we get separated. They indeed have handhelds so not much output.
  8. GMRS antenna while towing

The one that came with the radio. Don't have a photo but it's mounted where I annotated in red. You think if I upgrade to a proper 6dB whip antenna from Midland and mount on the tailgate, that'll improve it?
  9. GMRS antenna while towing

I tow a camping trailer that I built and have been running a Midland MXT275 radio. I tend to lead the convoy on trips and I've found that having a large metal box behind me hinders reception. Any thoughts on how you'd rig up an antenna to get above/around the trailer?
  10. RC High Winch Mount & Winch Install w/ Control Box Relocation

Had the RC hidden winch on for a year. The winch got fried recently after one too many water crossings. Wishing I would have relocated the control box to begin with. But RC is shipping me a replacement box and I'll be relocating it based on this thread, so thanks in advance.
  11. Wheeling Calico on Memorial Day Weekend

It's rare that photos actually capture the difficulty of obstacles, but yours do! Very well done!
  12. GMRS Radio

@Bmadda I ordered the identical connector to @UtahBrandon and the cable did not work. Messed with it a bit and the connector that went into the main radio was not working. Bought a new connector, cut the bad one off and replaced it and it works like a charm. PSA: If you buy one of these...
  13. Best Sunshade Tops?

    Did you? How is it?
  14. Soft top sound deadening aftermarket

Is the 2" the max thickness you can go with? Or would a 3" work as well to get even more sound deadening? I'm planning to go this same route for long road trips.
  15. Rough Country winch questions

I have 2.7 sasquatch and dis the hidden winch. Ground clearance and approach angle, no not really. Didn't measure before and after but it can't be much if it's anything at all. I did not adjust any suspension bits and it performs just as before. There's a long thread out there that has tips...
  16. CACTUS GRAY Bronco Club

Nah, just how the light hit and the photo was edited. A random guy out on the trail that day snapped them and emailed them to me.
