  1. Quick disconnects sta-bar

Ya the clunking made me crazy. Even my wife noticed it, and she never notices that kind of thing. $1250 plus a $20 connector on eBay, and some heat protection tubing. And if you have any skid plates there, you may need to change that one out as the electric disconnect hangs a touch lower...
  2. Quick disconnects sta-bar

I've spent a year with the disconnected links from AcFab. Disconnecting and reconnecting is fine, so long as you find flat ground when reconnecting. But man are they clunky under normal operations, and make plenty of creaking noises. For this reason, I have the OEM electric disconnect arriving...

An STL would be most appreciated. I'll print this up today if you wouldn't mind sharing.
  4. Factory Trailer Brake Controller installation feedback

This is what I do as well but 3 works better for me. Either way, I'm certain I'm in manual mode because if I let off the brakes really slow, the trailer brakes don't release until I'm fully off the brake and then they disengage rapidly.
  5. Factory Trailer Brake Controller installation feedback

Does anyone know how to change between manual and proportional mode? I seem to be stuck in manual mode, and no matter how many times I follow the instructions to switch to proportional nothing seems to change.

  10. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

Hobby Lobby, didn't use the cricut brand as it was very gloss black but the other brand they had was less so and mixed in better.
  11. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

I definitely was thinking of Stickerfab when doing this. In order to make it all more palatable for someone to purchase you'd need an easier/better way to sand and then align them. Results could vary for everyone depending on how steady of a hand you have. Also would need to make a custom font...
  12. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

  13. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

It's an SVG file, and here's what the "Attach Files" tells me... The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension. The following extensions are allowed: .zip, .txt, .pdf, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .gif, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .mp4, .mov, .m4v, .webm, .mp4v, .mpeg, .mpg, .ogv I'd...
  14. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

I installed one on top of the dash and using an Aux made that super easy
  15. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

Oh man, this was many trials. It was a generic font that I manually edited to make it work. I'd be more than happy to send over the SVG file.
  16. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

The patience was definitely tested as I was using tweezers to perfectly place the vinyl!
