  1. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

I did, but it's numerous interior panels and figured I'd give it a shot before doing that. It was a pain to be in an awkward position but hey it worked out.
  2. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

That's how my wife said to get a Popsicle stick, I decided to order 200 from Amazon for $4 instead... But I'll keep you in mind if I run out 😉
  3. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

I thought about that but didn't want anything not manual as a quick slip would mean irreversible sanding.
  4. Custom Illuminated Aux Switches - DIY

This was quite the process to dial in but really happy with the results. Don't yet have anything hooked up to AUX1 so leaving it alone for now, but have a "SWY" label for the future as I hope to install OEM disconnect. First step was to create vinyl labels using a Cricut machine. I went through...
  5. Sway Bar quick disconnects

Mine does the same, ever so slightly. Mostly at lower speeds. The o-ring front and back is interesting, mine would be way too tight and would take quite a big of force to get that pin back in. I've been contemplating adding in some more rubber but it would need to be thinner than the o-ring...
  6. Steering rack click noise

Did you get this resolved? Mine just started making that same clicking sound when full turns today. Edit: had an oil change last week and they must not have totally torqued down the skid, and off roading since then must have loosened it enough. I pulled off to inspect the steering rack since I...
  7. Colorado WTB One Goodyear Sasquatch size tire

Oh man you missed me by 4 days. I just swapped out all 5 to something different and the spare had plenty of tread left on it.
  8. Speaker Volume when installing Midland MXT275

Yup, handset has speaker too. It wasn't enough for me at highway speeds and soft top, so I got the Midland aux speaker and it sits right under my seat. At not highway speeds the handset speaker is plenty.
  9. Off-Road Trailer DIY Build Project Complete

Nice work! I did something similar with an enclosed cargo trailer. Did you fab those fenders or purchase them? I've been needing to make/buy new ones for mine as I also upgraded tire size.
  10. Manual Sway bar disconnects

Mine make noise as well. I believe it's the fitment of the lower heim to the metal pin. Seems like there is a small enough gap to make a clunking sound. It only makes this sound at low speeds, once there is any bit of throttle and that gap is loaded up, it no longer makes any noise.
  11. Anyone running Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP tires?

I have 25k on the stock Goodyears and I've had at least 5 punctures in the main tread (not sidewall). They just have not held up, so looking for something that is more robust but not so rough/stiff around town and on highway. And these tires seem like a good balance.
  12. Anyone running Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP tires?

Anyone end up running these? I like the D rating but with two ply sidewall, seems like a good combo for me.
  13. Sasquatch Tire Replacement (Rock Flingers)

How's the ride on-road on the RTs? I've been thinking of going with either these or Toyo RT Trails.
  14. The New (Toyo Open Country R/T Trail) Tire UPDATE!

On road, are they noticeably rougher (since they are stiffer) than stock OEM? I had my eye on the Wildpeak Falken RTs but someone who recently went to them said they are quite ROUGH.
  15. Trail recommendations near Denver for a first time CO off-roader

Moon and Gamble Gulches is close to Denver and pretty reasonable
  16. Factory Trailer Brake Controller installation feedback

What's everyone's delay on the brakes? I installed this and it's about an extra second after I release the brakes, that the trailer brakes then release. It's rather annoying. Towed the same trailer on a friends Chevy ZR2 and it had no noticeable delay. Thoughts?
  17. Colorado 2.7L (or any >7K ASL) owners chime In...especially those with 4.7 gearing

It does everything I've ever asked of it. Plenty of trips up the mountains and wheeling as high as 11,000 feet and above. I tow up and down I-70 and 285 and again it's been great.
  18. 2022 Black Diamond Intermittent Trouble Codes

Could be worth getting yourself Forscan that way you can check the actual errors while they are active. May help your dealer narrow in to whatever is going on.
