  1. Is swapping hardtop for softop as difficult as it looks?

I’m considering a soft top for summer. I’d put the hardtop back in the fall. The soft top kit looks like it has a LOT of parts. Is switching back and forth as hard as it looks? I’m mechanically inclined, but not looking for an all day project for each swap. 2024 2 door BTW.
  2. Who makes the soft top that Ford sells?

I got an email today offering 20% off accessories. Even with the discount (the discount only applies for the first $1000), the one from Ford is more costly than the premium TrekTop from BestTop. Are they the same thing?
  3. I knew there’d be some wind noise, but this much?

It’s not that, this is an air leak. And what seems to be a pretty major one.
  4. I knew there’d be some wind noise, but this much?

I knew that wind noise was a Bronco thing, but the wind noise in my 2 door is astounding. My prior vehicle was a Jeep Gladiator and it had what I thought was a fair amount of wind noise; caused mostly by the flat windshield. Wind noise in the Bronco is about the same as the Gladiator at speeds...
  5. Nail in tire in terrible spot - patch, replace one, or all?

My wife’s car got a big nail really close to the edge, so tire needed to be replaced. Car was basically new, so no concern about wear disparity, but they were the factory tires and the only place I could find a replacement was a dealer.
  6. Nail in tire in terrible spot - patch, replace one, or all?

My tire guy uses a patch like the ones in the picture. He preps the inside of the tire with a grinder, gets everything nicely covered in glue, then pulls the patch into place. It looks sturdier to me than just a sheet rubber patch.
  7. Rear cargo liner for 2 door

I agree that a commercially available liner that covers to whole works is unlikely, so I’d be happy with one that covers just the area behind where the seats used to be. My plan would be to have carpeted ply where the back seats used to be and have the spill containment cargo liner behind that.
  8. Rear cargo liner for 2 door

Well, both I guess, but mostly to contain spills. So, I want the lip, just not a huge one.
  9. Rear cargo liner for 2 door

I want to get a rear cargo liner for my 2dr. I removed the rear seats, so I’d like to have a liner that’s not too high in the front. Most of the ones I’ve seen come up high in the front to align with the height of the seats when they’re folded down. Has anyone seen what I’m looking for...
  10. Favorite/Best product to add halos to headlights?

I was disappointed to discover that my Bronco headlights don’t have Halos. I see myriad solutions. Any opinions on the best/easy to install options?
  11. Tie down “systems” for factory roof rack

I got to use my roof rack recently; carrying a latter about 100 miles. I used a combination of ratchet strap and bungees, but all the while, I was thinking there must be a better solution. I find the ratchet straps terribly cumbersome to use, but the bungees don’t instill confidence. I’m...
  12. Trailer hitch plug receptacle

Now I’m a little confused- I thought you needed the module that goes inside to get power to the plug that’s in the bumper.
  13. Trailer hitch plug receptacle

That’s a bummer because of the cost, but saved me from possibly getting into a pickle. Thanks.
  14. Trailer hitch plug receptacle

I’m looking to add a hitch to my 2024 Black Diamond It looks like it’s pre-wired; there’s what looks like a connector protected inside a sheet metal bracket that held in by bolts far longer than they need to be for the job. Anyway, do I need to buy a bracket with a receptacle for the trailer...
  15. Octane in 2.7 EcoBoost V6

I’ve never heard of a turbo engine that doesn’t want premium gas, but apparently it’s OK to use in the EcoBoost V6. But, is it ideal? I’d gladly use premium if it got me better range. I’d take performance if it came along with the deal, but I’d really like to go farther between full-ups.
  16. Can I do side stripes myself?

    Very, very, very, very cool!!!
  17. Got message - USB device not recognized then quit charging

It was 68° in the Bronco and the phone was in the shade. I didn’t want to talk to anyone either, but since I was using the phone for Nav, I didn’t want the phone to die.
  18. Got message - USB device not recognized then quit charging

Earlier today, I was driving along when I got the message “USB device not responding” I use Bluetooth for Apple Play and Apple Play was working, so I ignored the message. It came up twice, but that was it. I noticed later that the phone wasn’t charging. I tried re-plugging both ends with no...
  19. Anybody else having issues with CarPlay?

I’m assuming you mean the skip track forward button on the steering wheel and the power button on the volume control knob. I pressed those in unison for three seconds, but I didn’t see anything happen that looked like a reset. However, Waze is working properly after that, so thanks!
