Glad to find this group. Anybody talked with Tim Dahle in Spanish Fork? I haven't yet.. but when I was shopping for my truck they seemed to be pretty easy to work with.
I ended finding a CPO in Dallas and saving like ~$10k of a new one so went that route, so didn't buy from Tim Dahle. Road...
Larry H Miller is the worst for pricing and flexibility. A perfect example of a big dealer that resists change. Every vehicle I have shopped for there has been at least $1k+ more than any other dealer for same thing. But they advertise a lot so the weekend "impulse buy" crowd gets sucked in...
I am big 2.7 fan and it works great with A10 so will enjoy it immensely but if it was offered with manual I probably couldn't resist.
Even with 2.3 auto being listed twice it still has the least votes. I bet Ford thinks that combo will sell the most.. and maybe that is true outside of the...
I understood that the issue was the oil vapor was recirculated and would then build up on the back of the valves. With direct injection there is no flow over the valves to clean them off so it would build up.
With the addition of port injection on the 2.7 part of the air/gas mixture flows...
Its something I connect with my 20-something daughters on.. so definitely looking forward to it.
Interesting how each director gives their own "vibe" to each episode. I liked all the first season episodes but the "prison ship" episode was me least favorite.
I wouldn't feel bad if they introduced a 2-door version of the aluminum body Expedition in the same wheelbase as my truck (122").
My wife might though as she would wake up to find her car gone and 2 Broncos of different sizes in the garage.
After owning several camp trailers I can say by the time you get them ready to use they are much heavier than the listed dry weight.
That is why I am targeting <2k lbs .. to be able to get it usable and still stay comfortably under the 3,500 lbs.
My '18 4x2 RCSB F150 2.7 is actually a bit lighter than listed bronco specs (~4,300). Aluminum body and a bunch of empty space in the back I guess..
A 2-door base with rear seats, doors and rear top removed (keeping that front panel on as I am follicle challenged and need the sun protection)...
I'm getting old I guess.. the absence of sound is my goal.
Seems Ford did a pretty good job on my F150 2.7.. I don't really notice the sound much, but then again my hearing is not what it used to be thanks to many years of motorbikes, guns and loud music in the 80's.
Use earplugs kids!
Base, because I have this weird fascination with simplicity and trying to make do with the minimum possible...
I want the most possible HP though so 2.7 box checked. And yes that is contradictory but I'm good with it.
I agree, Honda is un-paralleled at interior packaging and Bronco missed an opportunity.
I will make it work though. The rear seats will be removed in mine.. and hopefully I can figure out a way to decline the passenger seat all the way back flat. Then put a long flat sleeping platform from...
I like the understated cowboy hat tip. Keep the Bronco western theme
Imagine John Wayne as he acknowledges Clint Eastwood's fine skills with a wheel gun by a slight nod and finger to the hat brim before they part ways after the 2 of them serve lead to 40 evil wranglers and save a small town of...
E-locker has been a game changer on my 4x2 truck. I use it on the street in the summer for stoplight races as the 2.7 10AT in sport mode will light up a single rear for miles. It also makes a big difference in off-road capability.
The bronco won't have the same issues as it has better weight...
Yeah, that is a good point. With the B pillar and roof racks and front hood tie downs and door handles and mirrors all black it is hard to make the white look like more than an after thought.
I'm cool with the iconic silver and black trim too.
Some local paint shops could do a good business by...
2-door Iconic silver with body colored flares and white top with some polished wheels.
Reflect away as much hot Utah sun as possible. :)
My truck is black .. because it was the only color in the mechanical configuration I wanted. Looks cool when clean but man the dust stands out. I'm worried...
