  1. Grounding to the battery after installing larger amps

I wouldn't have an issue if I was running 700W but 2000W is a different story. I will look at the subframe under the dash though since I think there is a ground wire run from the battery to the firewall. I thought I saw that under the hood.
  2. Grounding to the battery after installing larger amps

I noticed there is already a ground wire running to the fender so I can connect there. I am running 1/0 power wire so I won't double it but the power line is fused and the ground isn't.
  3. Grounding to the battery after installing larger amps

For anyone that has installed an amp 1000w or more, how have you grounded your system to the battery? Any pictures? I have been looking to do the second upgrade and the recommendation for the Bronco based on the metals used is anything over 500W should be grounded directly to the battery. Let me...
  4. audio volume changes - on it's own - not a ghost

no notification, just the volume changes. Just like the speed compensation works however it happens randomly, even at a cruising speed.
  5. audio volume changes - on it's own - not a ghost

The audio does not change between music/calls or anything else, it's pretty consistent. I am aware of the speed settings and have tried it on high, low and off. In each case the volume will still change randomly. For example, if it's set to 10, while driving the sound will jump as if it's set to...
  6. audio volume changes - on it's own - not a ghost

All - anyone have an issue with the audio volume changing on it's own, randomly. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I spoke to the amp manufacturer who suggested a head unit problem. Just looking so see if anyone else has encountered the same thing.
  7. Are 2023 and 2024 broncos the same size? My ‘23 looks bigger.

I'm interested to know which color makes it appear bigger.

  10. 2024 Bronco Now Supported on Flashcal 1546!

Seems a little pricey considering Forscan is free and the connector is only $60. Plus with Forscan you get more opportunities to customize. What am I missing?
  11. Much needed "Enhanced Window Operation" OTA software update now installing

When I can open my windows when I drive, or I don't have to reset them because the auto down when opening the door doesn't work, let me know. I have never experienced the issue noted in the fix.
  12. Do I need bass blockers if my amp has a crossover?

Old thread but it's a perfect topic for me. #broncoToBe, I have the same setup and for me, the 4" speakers are too harsh. I'm wondering if I pull off the bass blockers, will it allow lower tones to come through and make them sound better. Since the bass blocker only contributes to the 4" dash...
  13. What is the best way to put Bronco in park

So after 2 years I have 40,000 miles on the Bronco and I have to ask... where is the parking break?
  14. Sasquatch worth it on a non Sasquatch?

Sounds like you want the Sas look, not the Sas package. Sas look is easy but if you want the capability then you need the front and rear lockers and gearing in addition to the suspension and tires. I'm not sure you can really do that inexpensively.
  15. Which do I pick?

Hate to sound like a parent but at 18 I would not be buying a new car. Find yourself a cool used off roader and have fun. Unless your last name is Buffett, save your money.
  16. What changes have you made to your Bronco using ForScan?

You rock! thank you. BTW, since the bright lights automatically dim when there is oncoming traffic, I am not so concerned about both being on at the same time blinding oncoming drivers.
  17. What changes have you made to your Bronco using ForScan?

what is the code change to allow the fog lights on when the bright lights are on?
  18. Victory: dialed in the Kicker 200.4 and 500.1 amps with upgraded speakers and Gearshade hidden 8" sub

That's an idea. One thing I found is the ABS code may appear when the battery is disconnected. Certainly did that when installing the amp. I also looked at my original report before Forscan and saw the speaker open circuit code already existed so that must be from the amp.
