  1. The Ultimate "Travel" Guide - Bronco Suspension Data Compilation

Yes. 16 front 18 rear. I agree the front rate was higher than expected. The rear is right about what I figured. I am not totally sure my measured preload in the front. My rear is ¼” (just enough to keep the spring from allowing movement.). My fender heights on stock 33” with 36psi is 39 ¾”...
  2. Anyone try to make the rear seats recline further?

EPIC. Did you disassemble the hinge to cut it? Or what method did you use?
  3. The Ultimate "Travel" Guide - Bronco Suspension Data Compilation

Can someone add the 4wp spring rates who has edit access. They are 650 lb/in front and 250 lb/in rear per the manufacturer.
  4. Why did Ford make it so hard to put the doors back on?

The guide pin really helps. The rears on mine are cake and are as easy as everyone says. My front doors will occasionally be a pain to get on and take a stab or two to get lined up. For some reason it seems that I will get the top square pin halfway into the door and then catch on something.
  5. NEW Hammer Built High Clearance Hidden Winch

The front access was one of the things that my (more complicated) hidden mount achieved. I can reach in the front opening to access the drum and clutch quite easily.
  6. 74weld now on the B6G forum! Page 31

Yeah. Definitely doesn’t sound abused. I figure its either water in the fluid or some heat related issue. Do ya’ll have a custom exhaust that runs near by?
  7. 74weld now on the B6G forum! Page 31

Have you run in 4A at all? I forget but what is your effective final drive? (diff * portal reduction). What fluid did are you running? Did this ever happen before the fluid change? Makes me wonder if any water got in a vent or something in the T case. I would say you are probably...
  8. NEW Hammer Built High Clearance Hidden Winch

I removed the shutters but kept the motors plugged in. Theyre just tucked and ziptied to my driver side skid mount. No issues and they still operate, thinking they are controlling something. Some have removed them and it does not throw a CEL, but will give a code if you plug in to obd2...
  9. NEW Hammer Built High Clearance Hidden Winch

If I ever hit my skid hard enough to contact the winch, I have other issues. I assume the HB mount has similar clearance to the OEM skid. It would hit the oil cooler protector horns long before the winch plate made contact. I had talked to Alex/HB about including the write up I did...
  10. NEW Hammer Built High Clearance Hidden Winch

 I appreciate it. There are aspects about mine that I prefer, but mines honestly a bit of a pain for the first install. This one also keeps more room for the radiator, where I had to space my radiator up to get room. The inverted mount really allows for the most effective use of the...
  11. The Ultimate "Travel" Guide - Bronco Suspension Data Compilation

Do you have a front sway bar here? Always interesting seeing super flexy rear axles while the front is not close to max compression.
  12. NEW Hammer Built High Clearance Hidden Winch

I honestly like this setup quite a bit. I did something similar with my winch mount and discussed it in detail in my thread. Hammerbilt makes this probably the easiest hidden winch install, since no grinding or cutting is involved. The trickiest part of the whole process is either removing...
  13. NEW Hammer Built High Clearance Hidden Winch

Can you read? Tyson literally answers every single one of these questions in the first post between the prices, explainations and photos...
  14. Wagner High Mount Intercooler Install Write-Up

I agree. The oem is also much thicker. The wagner is literally using 100% of the available depth. It couldn’t be 1/16” thicker without issues.
  15. Trail Militia is going there: 74Weld vs Werewolf Portals

Man, all of these look crazy high. Even in photos and that means in person they must be even a bit more. Does anyone in this group get tire touching fenders?
  16. Oil catch can - 1 or 2 for 2.7?

I typically agree that they are unnecessary. The port injection keeps the valves clean and lets the engine burn off any crankcase oil. With that said, I believe the IAG separator is far superior to catch cans and is likely the best option if you just really feel that you need to do something...

4wp/ProComp 17.6875 24.3125 6.625 16.75 26.875 10.125 Yes(thread) No 2.5 No Aluminum Figured this one could be added. These ratios are interesting. Without changing LCA the motion ratios stay the same. ~1.65 front and ~1.12 in the rear. I bet these discrepancies come from...
  18. Kinematic model of OEM SAS front suspension

I can, Can you give me the droop/jounce split from OEM sasquatch. Or the compressed and max length of the coil overs.
  19. 12,000 lb Hidden Winch install on Bronco Raptor

High Mount Winch This is what I did, and Hammer Built has an off the shelf option now. Less cutting than LOBO and much stronger than RC. Also way higher.
  20. 2025 Suspension Recommendations (by Snacktime)

The rears are two collar revolutions after the collar contacts the spring. Could probably back off a touch more, but that is where I started. The fronts are 5 threads exposed and still had plenty of preload. The real constraint is making sure in a full droop condition that you do not loose...
