Just to be clear that your first post was questioning intercooler cooling primarily.
My response that additional intercooler fans are un neccessary for low speed crawling(C gear remember), based on experience, understandings of how turbos work, and working in thermal managment. Reminder that...
These hypotheticals are hilarious. Thanks for the videos that show it is nearly impossible to sustain boost in C gear.
Hes a fun one, some broncos have a radiator shroud that pulls air through the intercooler with the radiator fans.
I know a thing or two about boost and thermal management...
These are the shift points, but I don't think the shift points are the problem. Its not the OSS table that needs adjusted. Somewhere there is an "OSS accel" that I believe controls how aggressivly the engine attempts to change the OSS during the shift. That is what is causing the lurch is an...
You should warn him that if the issues is still there, you better be prepared to smash the brakes. It takes alot of brake to overcome.
I think this issues is an attempted rev match when downshifting, but done as a torque request but they forgot to account for the gearing reduction so you have...
Anyone looking to part ways with a set of the Ford Performance Beadlock rings? I am looking for a set and figured I would check here before going to the dealership.
I am not interested in trim rings or beauty rings, to be clear.
This is also my question, I am interested in a external cooler, but my Wagner High-mount intercooler leaves very little room for activities. I wonder if if could be mounted under my radiator behind the skid plate and incorporate some fans.
Used Nissan leafs make great beater commuters if your total daily milage is 100mi or less. I believe there is still tax credits in Cali for used EVs that can get it to your price range.
First outing with the winch let to being used 6X. I didn't go to all the work of installing it to not use it. One of the benefits in my mind is that you can try much more challenging obstacles and routes. On alot of the off road park trails in the TX/AR area you can get a mile down a trail...
There is actually. Hammer built offroad has a similar setup for sale, and when combined with the Mishimoto intercooler it allows for the relocation of the ACC module.
I obviously prefer the hidden setup. To me there are too many compromises with the front mount, or the low mount hidden options (lobo and RC).

I think it is somewhere around 17.5" I used the Warn 9.0RC on my setup in the similar location. From what I have found the TM10K and the 9.0RC are the two name brand winches that fit.
While I do believe that some of you guys can reinstall the front doors in "<2 minutes". But I sure would like to see how. As a solo person installing, getting the top square hinge into the door typically takes me a stab or two while making sure I am not bumping door to fender.
I have always...
