  1. 5/14/2026 Update - Bronco Raptor APG ProRunner Suspension Installation

There were some youtube videos when the rapter released that were dissections of the color coded demo frames to show every spot that Ford added metal. I will try to find it, but I bet that would be a very good place to start. It really just looks like the suspension towers, bump stop area, and...
  2. Rear suspension idea/?

I think from the sounds of it you are just looking for a rear sway bar.
  3. Winch Shackle questions - brand and finish recommendation (anodized vs bare aluminum)

Just to toss in my 2c, I have the saber winch thimble that is small enough to tuck into the fairlead without looking as comically bulky as some of these and have been very happy with it. I did put a vinyl sheath on the exposed portion of winch line through the thimble so that it does not get...
  4. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

Nice to see! I don't know the tpi, but 3/4" sounds about right to me. They are easier to adjust once installed, but more difficult to measure. Are you planing to pull the lower control arm chassis side bolts to get them out? or the knuckle?
  5. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

I am at ~15 threads showing up front. Hard to get a tape measure in there easily. Stock badlands (skids, heavy front axle) with my custom front hidden winch mount. Total weight was around 90 lbs iirc.
  6. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

The bump stops control the fender clearance unless I am missing something. I would think based on the 4wp lengths that 37s basically require a small body lift to keep the tire out of the fender, but otherwise the height can be set to as low or as high as desired.
  7. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

Gotta say that after a few days of driving I am really liking the 500/200 split. Can tell it is a bit more plush and I like the fitment better at this height. I will update with final height measurements, but it goes for an alignment on Monday and will be all locked in from there. One...
  8. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

I am .5” below stock badlands height on 33”s I got the fronts installed and it wasn’t bad. I pulled the two retaining rings and slid a 1” deep socket over the hex side. Couple hits with the hammer popped out the spherical. I did have to use spring compressors on the fronts but other than that...
  9. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

Got the rears on. At the same preload amount it dropped about an inch. Little less than I hoped for but definitely better. Gonna try to tackle the fronts. I pulled the lower arms last time, but trying to decide it thats the best route.
  10. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

@87-Z28 were you able to get the front springs swapped?
  11. Cobb intercooler vs. stock intercooler test - temperature & driving comparisons

lol. I am very aware of where the radiator is. I am talking about the huge bypass that is opened up by intercooler swaps like this. It effects every raptor and some 2.7 broncos, mostly Badlands that have the intercooler that shares ducting between the radiator and intercooler. It can be...
  12. Cobb intercooler vs. stock intercooler test - temperature & driving comparisons

I hate that huge gap it opens up to the radiator shroud when removing the stock intercooler. spikes your traffic charge temps and kills your radiator and condensor air flow from the fans when stopped.
  13. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

Make extra sure Panda understands what you intend to order. They sent me the wrong springs after they curated the online cart for me. 🙄
  14. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

Cant you remove the top and thread the collar off the top? I may need to go take a closer look. Thanks for reminding me that I need to order these though.
  15. Interior Fan a/c & Heat

One thing worth noting is that if the blend doors are set to outside air and you turn the HVAC off you can still get airflow just from the cowl pressure at speed. If you set it to recirculate and then turn off the HVAC there is much much less flow , although still not zero at highway speeds.
  16. Engine coolant over temperature & service engine soon warnings pop on

I think part of the frustration is the techs have their hands so tied that they cannot actually trouble shoot. It takes about 15 minutes to remove the shutters and have the grill back together. He could have done a test to see if it is the grill shutters are staying closed in a half hour.
  17. Engine coolant over temperature & service engine soon warnings pop on

Something about these two photos does not make sense to me. You're showing in .1 of a mile your water temp went up 4 bars (however much that is). Secondly once moving the grill shutters can be completely closed and maintain temp at the indicated 65 mph(eco mode). It does appear based on oil...
  18. Sierra Bronco 2.0 build. Or…1.5? 🤔

Just means their expected input forces were off by 3X also. 😂
  19. Sas stock tires, why does the factory jack not work.

Theres an owners manual guys. Its on your screen and can be searched for even eaiser access. Just to help the next guy.
  20. Coilovers - changing springs to effect ride height.

The 4wp front coils are 16" length per the spec and when I checked during assembly the lengths measures about exactly what they were called out.
