  1. What’s your ideal combo. of options? Is it attainable with current info.?

Coming over from Land Rover world, I find it silly to suggest that towing capacity and off-road performance are incompatible. My Disco 1 had a 7,700 lb towing capacity. So has every Discovery, Range Rover, or Defender since at least the early '90s. Many of these are dedicated off-roaders, and...
  2. What’s your ideal combo. of options? Is it attainable with current info.?

    * Manual Transmission V6 4-door * Sway bar disco, 4.7 final drive, and 33s from Badlands * Upgraded front diff and 4A transfer case from Badlands * Drain plugs, vinyl, grille, and everything else from BD * Mid package, tow package, and any hardtop (MIC is fine)... * 5,000 lbs towing (which I...
  3. What size tires fit a stock Bronco Black Diamond?

I fully expect you can fit 285/75R17s (34s) with no lift, provided you don't disconnect your sway bar. Slight chance of rubbing on articulation if you do. I'll probably end up running 33s on a BD because they are about 10 lbs lighter than 34s, 15-20 lbs lighter than 35s. You'd probably just...
  4. What size tires fit a stock Bronco Black Diamond?

    Can confirm. Confusing as heck.
  5. Is the new Bronco a "classless" vehicle?

And getting a whole lot more vehicle.
  6. Spotted: Bronco Badlands Sasquatch towing trailer with Outerbanks in the wild

That was exactly my spec of truck, and 1992 as well. I left it stock for 5 years, then put a Hurst shifter, heavy duty front springs, and a lunchbox locker in it. Also a tubular air intake, custom headers, and a 2.5" Borla exhaust. Drove for another 5 years. What a glorious little sleeper.
  7. Spotted: Bronco Badlands Sasquatch towing trailer with Outerbanks in the wild

Gotta have no shame to rock the teal truck, but it really did grow on me over the years. I can't think of a single vehicle I've ever owned (out of many) that I had more unsolicited on-the-spot offers from random strangers to buy the thing. It turned into sort of a running joke that whenever a...
  8. Spotted: Bronco Badlands Sasquatch towing trailer with Outerbanks in the wild

My '92 Ranger that I sold just earlier this year after a decade of ownership. Never minded the teal. Bodywork got a little rusty in recent years but the paint held up as well or better than most anything else that came out in the 90s (referring to durability and not necessarily style). When...
  9. Maryland Volume Buyers Group? or Maybe VA/PA/DE/MD?

Neigh meaning yes, of course, since a Bronco is a horse! (I'm sure this was intentional and I'm just being dumb explaining your joke. lol)
  10. Petition Ford to RIGHT a WRONG!

My wife is a biologist. Can confirm.
  11. Petition Ford to RIGHT a WRONG!

So buy a Black Diamond. That's their end game anyway ?‍♂️
  12. Let's Be Honest About Our Intended Use

Skiing. Road trips. Field work. Camping. Getting to work when the weather is bad. Pulling Jeeps out of snow banks. Spring and Fall driving with the top off whenever I want a convertible. And drive some other beater half the time so I can get 20-30 years of good use out of this vehicle (just sold...
  13. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

Nope, sorry. Also this explains the larger price discrepancy between 2 door/4 door for Base vs. other models.
  14. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

Didn't read the whole thread, just the first 6-8 pages. Was anything mentioned regarding "Advanced 4x4" or upgraded front ring gears? Also: Doug/Ford: Mr. IT manager, are you ready to drop B&P? Everyone on Bronco6G is going insane right now and you are past your deadline. IT Manager/Ford: No...
  15. 2021 Bronco Build & Price pre-launch waiting room

6:00 AM Eastern and nothing for the Bronco  That 2021 F150 B&P sure seems half baked, at least from my phone. It doesn't even update the graphics when you change cab style and box length. Strange. That said, check out this shot of Antimatter Blue!
  16. First SUV will be a Bronco. What should I know?

This is why I end up putting train horns in most of my sedans. Maybe next I'll adopt the biker's mantra that "loud pipes save lives!"
  17. First SUV will be a Bronco. What should I know?

Bronco should be great for even the most extreme potholes.
